The atmosphere was calm compared to other VCA facilities I have been in and the Dr.Horwitz was awesome with our patient and my small human who loves that hamster. She came highly recommended by another vet in the valley as well. Here she is taking her meds happily.

4771 East Palm Canyon Drive East, Palm SpringsWe are not regulars of this vet and had to take our cat here after an emergency. We called more for an end of life consultation, but after some consultation with Dr. Henein, we got some x rays and ended up opting for an emergency surgery the next day to remove a tumor from his colon/intestine. They got him in to surgery within 24hrs of our visit and ended up saving his life. They called during the surgery, after, and multiple times every day following. They went beyond what I’d expect and the communication was amazing. They absolutely saved our cat and even the surgeon that helps out but isn’t a part of this practice called multiple times to check on him. The only negative thing I could mention would be the cost, but I don’t imagine that surgery would have been any less expensive anywhere else. I highly recommend this place for the compassion, professionalism and especially communication!

Had the pesto chicken for lunch on our way up and the buffalo chicken for supper in our way home. Never had a crepe like this. Great vibes. Love to find a hidden gem like this when we are traveling. Cocktails are refreshing and delicious. The service is always friendly. Just be aware, seating is outside. And although they have heaters and blankets, I've been glad I brought a jacket or sweater on cool desert nights.
