Best in show grooming
80150 C4, 80150 CA-111, IndioToday was our first time bringing our little guy to Best In Show Grooming and it was incredible! To start, scheduling an appointment was an absolute breeze. I left a message, and within hours, someone (I assume the owner) got back to me and was able to fit me in less than a week. I needed a last-minute appointment, and they were so accommodating. I was nervous to try a new groomer because I had been bringing Ollie to the same place for years before we moved. However, I was looking for somewhere closer to home, so I decided to give Best in Show Grooming a try. We loved our previous groomer -- so the expectations were high! From the moment I dropped my dog off, I felt reassured. The process was smooth, and even though I wasn't able to give the best description of what I wanted (since I'd been going to the same place for so long), they had photo examples on the wall that helped me explain the cut my dog usually gets. Ollie is quite shy and scared of many things, which always makes me anxious about taking him to new places. But when I picked him up, he seemed to be in good spirits, and he looked absolutely adorable. They even went above and beyond by giving him a little bandana! I'm not sure if that's something they do for all first-time visitors or if it was just a special touch, but it made the experience even sweeter. The best part? The day of his grooming was his birthday, and it felt like they knew he needed that little extra something to celebrate! Overall, Best in Show Grooming exceeded my expectations. They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and TALENTED! I can't recommend them enough, especially since a handful of the reviews seem unnecessarily harsh. If you're looking for a grooming service that truly cares about your pet, this is the place to go.

It's been quite some time since I've had a puppy and this class was just what I needed! We both learned so much in just a few short weeks. The facility itself is quite impressive, the trainers are fantastic, and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. They even offer Friday playtime with this class, definitely Bella's favorite day of the week (and maybe mine, too)!

Westward Ho Dr, La QuintaI’ve sent my mini Sheltie puppy to Kat’s in-home Board and Train program twice now and she has done an OUTSTANDING job with him!! He first went for 7 nights when he was 4.5 months old and again for a 3 night refresher to reinforce existing skills and learn an important new command once he was more mentally mature at 7 months old. Kat took the time to really understand his lifestyle and shape his training goals with me ahead of both stays and both times we got back a happy, healthy and focused pup who loves to show off his tricks and manners! He was understandably a little nervous the first time we dropped him off but the second time he was thrilled to be back, which just shows how much fun he had there with her!! You can tell that Kat cares deeply about the dogs she works with and I’m so glad we found her out here in the desert. I highly recommend the customizable board and train service to provide structure, fundamentals and/or personalized learning (then you just need to stay consistent at home continuing to reinforce the new skills). Thank you Kat for all you’ve taught Ozzie - we will definitely be back!

She spent a great amount of time getting to know our Biggie and showing us how to walk him. We now enjoy our walks and hikes.We then signed him up for her 6 week group training and they were so educational. Our dog had previously failed group classes somewhere else because of his high energy so we were nervous but she accepts all dogs and he ended up doing great this time around thanks to her. Highly recommend.

Visiting Shields Date Garden was such a beautiful experience. The grounds are extremely well kept, clean, and filled with so many things to see while walking through. There are many palm trees, fruit trees, gardens, and faith themed displays including statues and crosses throughout the property that make it feel peaceful and unique.
We were amazed to learn they carry over 100 varieties of dates along with so many products made from palms and dates. Admission is free to walk around and enjoy the gardens, while the food, drinks, treats, and gift shop items are available for purchase.
The restaurant, shakes, ice cream, and drinks make it a perfect stop whether you want to relax or just grab something quickly on the go. A very memorable place with something for everyone. Definitely an awesome visit for our family.
