βGood store, Saw a traffic light inside the store that was funny. itβs a 2 story store but the escalator didnβt work so you climb it like a stair case. Restrooms are on the second floor and they arenβt the best or the worst.β

βIt's no wonder my wife spends so much time here. She sent me for these simple little paint craft things of The Nutcracker, said she could'nt find them anywhere else. I got those, but the kid in me kind of was inspired to came out- tons of neat stuff prompting the nostalgia- The Grinch themed stuff- a whole aisle- and tons of Holiday Cheer. Naturally, I needed help finding the craft pack she sent me for, and the staff was very quick to help. Really nice people. I'm not rushing back, but now i get why she loves this place.β

βI love their clothing options. Saw there are deals going on at Kohls through some insta deals pages and went casually for window shopping. Guess what, purchased 10 tops(for myself and my hubby) and also glasses under clearance. With additional 50% discount, got all those stuff for just $156(tax included). There are price checkers in the store or else you can scan product barcode on kohls app for accurate prices after discount. Ample parking space. I went couple of times to use the parking space for car driving practiceβ

Everything in this store gives you ideas of what can go with it and how to make it necessary in your household, work or school. Thereβs so many different ways to craft, DIY, cooking products, automotive, holiday gifts and stuff for parties. The prices have gone up but you can still have a lot of options and itβs fun making a list of what you want and what to buy. The store is accessible and thereβs something for everyone. βCame here after learning that the Lakewood location had closed. I came here looking for a specific Valentine's Day decoration. They had exactly what I was looking for! I'm giving 5 stars because they had the product. The store itself definitely seemed dirty along with the parking lot. The store itself could have been much cleaner and better organized.β

βHigh five to Cheyenne! I was recently in the store to return an item from an online marshalls.com purchase. Cheyenne was at the register said I needed a paper that shipped with the items, but I never got one so I pulled up the ship order number on my phone. The other young woman helping Cheyenne said that wasnβt enough and was preparing to send me on my way. But Cheyenne was fantastic! She helped find the purchase email on my phone and saw the number for shipping and purchasing is the same, and the return was a breeze. Cheyenne went the extra mile to make sure I could return the product and was very considerate and non judgmental. As a result, the front of the store is more aware of the return process. No paper needed! Cheyenne is an outstanding employee and made the shopping experience terrific.
Also, the store is great. Clean, lots of options and very friendly workers.β
βThe most excellent service in recent memory was provided by furniture department manager, Andrew, at this Big Lots location. He explained the difference between furniture brands, the pros and cons of mattress selection in particular. His advice helped me to see the value and importance in investing in the long term by getting the better quality, (tho more expensive) brands. This was a lesson that my grandfather taught me decades ago, but that had somehow with all these commercials these days had slipped my mind. Bottom line, talk to Andrew when you need furniture.β

βWas next door so stopped by to see if I need anything. Surprisingly, it's a nice and big store...similar set up as Ross (sorry) but nicer and less messier. Well set up and organized. Staff are nice and helpful. Plenty of stuffs and seasonal items too. Big parking lot and clean.β
βThis is one of my favorite stores. I like to explore and spend a lot of time there, and when I'm done shopping, it has a coffee shop inside, where you can sit and enjoy your favorite beverage.β€οΈβ
βI went to the Downey location to pick up my online order, I spoke to Brian who informed me that my order hadn't been processed yet and that he would go check on it, he returned shortly to tell me that it hadn't been picked yet and that he would go on the floor to see if it was there, I told him that online stated that there was only one of the items at their location but if by chance he found an extra one I world take it as well well to my surprise Brian did indeed find another one and also informed me that I had 25.00 Kohls cash so I only paid 5.00 for my 30.00 item. Brian went above and beyond which unfortunately almost unheard of anymore. Thank you Brian greatly appreciated.β
βParking was great. Macy's carries the reputable brand of kitchenware that I was looking for at a discount. And the courteous man at the checkout desk was able to help me immediately. It brings back memories to walk into a department store.β

βEsmeralda at the front desk defines exceptional service and what it means to go above and beyond. I was in a rush and needed some pants for a last minute meeting, so I tried them on in the fitting room and kept them on. I didnβt realize it had the magnet still attached. Knowing I was in a rush, she let me extend my leg over the counter so she can remove it. I looked ridiculous, but it didnβt matter and she didnβt care. If she made me go back and change, I would have been late to my meeting and would have lost out on my promotion! Thank you Esmerelda!β

βI received a 20% off coupon via email and also had a 10% cash back offer on my debit card so I decided to do some shopping at Big Lots. My first choice was the Lakewood store; however, come to find out that it has closed! I find the Long Beach store to be too junky and I was close to the Bellflower store so I decided to shop at that location. I was happy to see furniture at this location and have been wanting an ottoman for quite some time. I did not find one in the exact color I was looking for but was happy to see different options in stock. I ended up with a new living room rug and was happy to see that this location had more items of substance in stock rather than the LB location. Store layout was common as in some other Big Lots locations I have shopped at and the aisles were clear and free of clutter. Plenty of parking is available as the lot is pretty big and shares it with a few other stores and a .99 store. Area seems like it can be a bit shady though.β
βIn searching for a purse to replace my multifunctional, well-used one, I found four. I decided on one which unfortunately had no attached price tag. Sought help and encountered Chelsie. She searched through the purse, the online store, and other places while serving other customers who were in and out of the fitting room. No result. She persisted. At last, she found the info and managed to make a new price tag. Rachel was also there to assist with the final decision. Thank you both for your excellent customer service! Quite a gem!β

βI just wanted to get on here & leave a review about βRossβ in Paramount CA, itβs located in the Paramount Town Center, or Paramount & Alondra by Wells Fargo, i used to live on Paramount & Rosecrans at the beginning of this year, so that Ross was the closest to me, I only shopped there twice because from the front door to checking out, I felt really uncomfortable, security at the door barely spoke cashiers were so dry & unfriendly. Well about a week ago I needed to grab something real quick so against my better judgment I went in & when I did it was amazing the security guard at the door (Tall African-American) he was so friendly & welcoming, it really made me feel I had made the right choice by coming in, he was even nice when checking my receipt I know this is weird, but he made me feel so welcoming. I think I might even shop there again, but only if I see him at the door donβt know his name, but he was really welcoming and friendly to me and I really really appreciate that. I donβt like going places. I donβt feel welcome.β
