Diagnostics have a cost, but are a great value as noted above. It's nice to have a complete list along with quotes - no surprises. Their prices are fair - Tim is a master bmw tech and has top notch staff mechanics. You might find a cheaper shop, but Bimmer is the best value imo.”

“I grew up in a shop, working on cars, motorcycles, and airplanes with my brother and father. My father would have us re-do anything that wasn't up HIS standard. I tell people this because the reason I have been going to Ara for years is that he is the only mechanic I have done repeated business with that has such a high standard for the quality of his work. I drive a 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman with a turbo and it runs better than when I bought it new. “Armand is the absolute best. The first two service I called from google maps was a scam Indian call center. The second was crazy expensive. Finally, I found Armand! He showed up when he said he would and the price was fair. I’m not from the area so I was going to get a tow to the dealer. Armand helped me troubleshoot what was wrong with the car (alternator) and recommended a local mechanic. 5 hours later my car was fixed and ready to go. Not going to the dealer saved me hundreds!
