“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. John is thorough, honest and detailed. John took the time to find out what was wrong with a leaking coolant issue that another mechanic closer to my home could not find and was replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced. John had to get under the engine to detect this problem. He took video/photos showing me what was happening. He explained to me what needed to be done. He put everything in writing, explaining what he did. He gave me the defective part. Then he called me four days later to see to how the car was doing. That is EXCELLENT SERVICE! I highly recommend John and Modern Auto Technology 100%.”

“Jim is absolutely the best. I brought in an ‘86 Porsche 944 that was quoted an arm and a leg at other shops; Jim is priced very reasonable but certainly does not skimp on quality. I went in for various engine and chassis work, car drives absolutely perfect thanks to Jim.
Very quick to respond, great integrity, and makes sure the job is done properly. After a large repair I noticed my engine was smoking; it turned out to only be residue from previous leaks during repair. Jim took it in and fixed it complementary as part of the previous repair same day.
If I were in LA long term, I would go to no one else for any repair”

“An honest, knowledgeable mechanic is rare these days. Whitey's is everything and more. I have been taking my '62 Corvette to him for several years. Each time, the problem is fixed properly and I am charged a fair price. I would not take my car to any other mechanic no matter what.”
“Yesterday, I was driving to my dance class when I suddenly got a flat tire on the road. My dance instructor recommended I go next door to A & A Tire & Auto Repair, assuring me they would be able to help me. My tire was completely flat, and I was driving on the rim by the time I pulled into A & A Tire, without even calling ahead or having an appointment.
What could have turned into a horrible day was completely saved by the kindness of everyone at A & A Tire & Auto Repair. They were incredibly kind, immediately had me pull into the garage, and changed my flat tire with my spare within minutes. They even helped me locate a new tire right away.
Not only are they skilled, knowledgeable, and efficient, but they are also genuinely kind and offer incredibly reasonable prices. I now have them saved in my phone in case I ever need help again, and I will absolutely recommend them to all of my friends and family.
