“Peter at Fair Oaks Tire Shop went above and beyond!
I have a Segway Ninebot Mini Pro, and one of the tires developed a hole. What followed was a frustrating experience. I went to several tire shops, but nobody could help me. One shop even damaged the tire while attempting to repair it. Another shop told me I would have to wait until September 30 for an appointment. Other tire shops simply sent me away and told me to go to a bicycle shop.
Then I went to Fair Oaks Tire Shop and met Peter.
At first, Peter was going to send me away too, but I explained that I had already been turned away by several shops. He took a look at my tire and, without even asking me for money, immediately started working on it.
Peter discovered that the tire had actually been compromised and damaged beyond repair. He told me I needed to order a new tire and said he would install it for me.
I ordered the replacement tire from Amazon. Two days later, I brought it to Fair Oaks Tire Shop, and Peter immediately took care of it. He installed the new tire, put air in it, and had my Segway working again. He made it look so easy!
What impressed me most wasn’t just his skill. Peter was kind, patient, and genuinely willing to help. He had absolutely no attitude, even after so many other shops had turned me away.
He didn’t even ask me for payment. I was so grateful that I insisted on paying him and his friends for their help.
After all the frustration I went through, Peter was the person who finally solved the problem.
Peter can do what no other tire shop could do!
I am extremely grateful to Peter and everyone at Fair Oaks Tire Shop for helping me. I highly recommend this shop, and I will definitely be going back to Peter for all my future tire problems.

“Jim is absolutely the best. I brought in an ‘86 Porsche 944 that was quoted an arm and a leg at other shops; Jim is priced very reasonable but certainly does not skimp on quality. I went in for various engine and chassis work, car drives absolutely perfect thanks to Jim.
Very quick to respond, great integrity, and makes sure the job is done properly. After a large repair I noticed my engine was smoking; it turned out to only be residue from previous leaks during repair. Jim took it in and fixed it complementary as part of the previous repair same day.
If I were in LA long term, I would go to no one else for any repair”

“I’ve been a customer here for a few months now after getting a full set of four new tires last year for my VW GTI, and today just reinforced why I won’t be going anywhere else.
With all the construction on the highways lately, I ended up picking up a nail in one of my tires. I stopped by without an appointment, expecting to have to wait or come back later, but they took me in right away without hesitation. The team was incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. They had everything taken care of in about an hour.
What really stood out was that there was no charge because the repair was covered under warranty. No hassle, no pushy upsells, just honest service and a genuine willingness to help. That kind of integrity is rare.
On top of that, their waiting area is one of the nicest I’ve seen. It is clean, comfortable, and clearly designed with customers in mind. And the people working there are truly some of the nicest you will meet.

“**Update** emailed Henry and he was able to give me a good price when I went in to get tires recently (8/27/26). They are friendly but I still wish they would tell you how long it would be instead of needing to ask. They got done when they said they would which I appreciate. Make sure to check your valve plugs. They only put them on the front two tires but when I went back in they gave me a new set. 4.4 stars

They do NOT honor their appointments. Told us to come in at 9 am and it would take an hour. An hour later they still haven’t started and said the process would take 2 hours. So now it’s going to be a 4 hour process? I think it’s because they already had our money as we were redeeming tire insurance. They put other cars before us that were walk-ins. $$$ America’s Tire across the street was better (we got tires for my car before) but they didn’t happen to have the tires we needed for my wife’s vehicle at the time. I understand places getting backed up but don’t make estimates that aren’t even in the realm of possibility. Also respect current customers that buy the tire insurance. 2 stars”

“He did not open machine to examine. He washed one towel simply to observe the shaking and imbalance that occurred. He said to replace the spacer mechanism would probably cost around $1,400 which is more than the cost of the washer. After he left we have the same machine with no work done on it and paid $129”

Service was fast! Battery is good and it was actually the cheapest price compared to American Tires and Jiffy Lube.
If I was to be picky: I didn’t receive an inspection (I was the last customer of the day though) and unsure if they put air in tires but they didn’t, though my car signaled that I needed air. I forgot to ask and didn’t notice until I left.
