“Both times I’ve come in here to buy a pair of runners, I’ve been impressed, but especially this last visit. After destroying my last pair I bought here 18+ months ago, I needed some new shoes. Madisyn was so helpful. She took her time listening to my needs, looking up my previous assessment and purchase, offered multiple ideas for pairs that would be a good fit, and then spent nearly 30 minutes with me as I tried on almost 10 options. She took my feedback seriously and made a genuine effort to find me the right pair. You don’t always get excellent service like this, and I appreciated it deeply, especially as running shoes are an investment nowadays! Very happy with my experience and purchase at this location.”
“What a pleasant experience! We came up from Santa Cruz for a concert at the Greek Theater. New shoes have been on the to do list for my hubby for awhile. We stumbled into Becks just to take a peek. We were fotunate to meet Victorya! Best shoe shopping experience ever! She is the best thing about Becks shoes. Knowledgeable, welcoming, charming, kind and loads of fun. A genuinely good human. “It's always nice shopping here at the Kid's Footlocker. The sale items are clearly marked so the customers don't need to second guess the prices. The sales floor is always clean and clear of clutter & boxes. The shoes are neatly stocked on the walls and the t-shirts are also neatly folded on the shelves. This Kid's Footlocker is one of the pleasant store to browse and shop. The staff are always friendly & helpful. The entire is shopping experience is stress-free and wonderful! I brought in a pair of Allen Edmonds Chelsea boots that needed heel repair and polishing. The turnaround was just two days, and the results were excellent. The craftsmanship showed, and the boots looked as good as new.
One thing to note: this is a cash-only shop, and they require a deposit when you drop off your shoes. Just be sure to come prepared to avoid an extra trip.

“DSW does not get the recognition I feel that they deserve. I've been a DSW fan for years! This location at Gateway Plaza, I honestly have never shopped in person. I usually come to pick up an online order, try on and look over my new shoes, and leave with a huge smile on my face. See: like a kid in a candy store. :) The staff here are always courteous, greets me when I enter the store, and helpful if I have questions or need to place an online order. The store is clean and a nice sized location. Needless to say, I'll be back ...what girl doesn't love new shoes. Plus, I'm always earning rewards, which keeps me coming back. “This is my favorite menswear store in the bay area. I really did the vibe of the place that they've put together and everyone on the staff is super friendly. I've gotten a pair of nice denim here from Warehouse as well as fatigue pants from Orslow. Both times, the staff was on point with helping me nail the sizing. “I love there work boots. They have a composite toe waterproof slip resistant work boot that is the best boot ever. I work on the freeways doing landscape so slipping is a no no and this boot does not fail. Puncture resistant as well. So I buy one then get 50 percent of another pair of shoes. I highly recommend then. Plus the staff are nice and have a sense of humor.”
