“My car was diagnosed to have a bad transmission by another local shop. something didn't feel right so i took my car to poets since they are down the street from where i live. augi and his team found sensors disconnected and a bad solenoid sensor. they fixed and delivered my car on the same day! It is hard to find shops nowadays that you can trust. Definitely coming back when my car needs more work!”
“Todd Martz has been our mechanic since 2007, for both our X5 and Z4. We live over 20 miles away, but I don't mind driving that far to get our vehicles serviced by Todd. He has kept our vehicles running great and if we do run into problems, we can rely on Todd to provide great reliable expert service, at a low cost. Recently, the yaw sensor on my 2003 Z4 went bad. A new replacement would have cost over $1200, if it can be found. Over the weekend, Todd found a used one for around $300. I've dealt with many other mechanics in the past and I don't know if any of them would have gone that extra mile to fix my car. Thanks so much Todd! You are a godsend.”
“I had several major repairs I needed done to my Camry, and they were very quick about it. They had to special order the parts, but the repairs were done the next weekend, and very well done too. I'm very pleased with them. Honestly, I was expecting to pay 50% to 100% more than I did, especially with the economy the way it's been the past 10 years. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how good a job they did, how fast they did it, and most amazingly how fairly they priced it. Once they had all the parts, they did all the work within two hours, which is kind of amazing. It would be nice if they had more parking, but you could say that about a lot of places. They are located behind Big O Tires on Contra Costa Blvd, south of Vivian Dr., so a little difficult to find without GPS, but definitely worth the effort.”

These guys don’t just do great work at a solid price, but they also take the time to explain what they are doing and why. They don’t take shortcuts but also don’t just throw money and parts at the car unnecessarily like some shops. They’ve even spent time to help me diagnose and resolve my own issues on different vehicles so I wouldn’t have to bring them in. “I live out of town and had a flat tire that AAA couldn't handle. AAA put enough air in the tire so I could drive to the only place open late on a Sunday. Josh helped me. He was kind, and kept me updated on the progress. At first he said that they couldn't fix the tire and I needed a new one but they didn't have any of my size. I knew there was an issue with my spare which is another story. Josh assured me that they try to do whatever it takes to get me on the road so I can get home. Josh kept his promise, fixed my tire and I was on my way. Great job.”
