“This is my go to Gas station as it is close to my work and I go in very early. I do not have issues finding a spot to pull up and fill up. It is welcoming to always see the same female attendant. She is reliable, always smiling and says hello.
I think if I had one criticism it would be that occasionally it is shut down for maintenance. Costco has APPS, and websites, but never provides when this maintenance will occur or for how long. I would think that adding these maintenance stoppage to the APP, to customer's know in advance and when it will be operational again...would be amazing and then 5 star worthy! ?”

“Very nice, family-run pharmacy that truly makes you feel like a valued customer rather than just another number.

The first time I needed to fill a prescription, I called CVS and was told they couldn’t find my insurance in their system and that my insurance might not be active. This was strange because I knew my insurance was active. I then called Poway Pharmacy, and they immediately found my insurance, confirmed that it was active, and were able to fill my prescription the very next day. CVS also told me they couldn’t get the medication for 2 weeks due to issues with their supplier.

What really stood out to me was the personal service. With large chain pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens, it can often feel like you’re just another customer in the system. At a family-run business like Poway Pharmacy, they actually take the time to help you and treat you like a person.

“Very friendly staff with great service. Had a prescription for my guinea pig, they called to let me know when it was ready and when I was there they made sure the label and everything was fine. Maybe I pressed down too hard when I first opened it, which is what I think happened, as the seal got stuck on the lid. I called them and they said they could fix it if I brought it back in but I managed to get it open. I was afraid to fully shut it in case it got stuck again. After 2 weeks the bottle was a mess, the syringe was a mess and so I called them and they answered right away (as they always have with me). They told me to bring it in. They were absolutely wonderful when I went in and they gave me a brand new bottle of a different design and a new syringe and I couldn't be happier. ?”

“They were fast, friendly and got my prescription formulated and ready for pickup in less than a day. They quoted me a price right over text message and sent me a text when it was ready. I stopped in this afternoon to pick it up and they had it right at the front desk ready to go. I didn't see any evidence of the problems others are complaining about.”

“I’ve had 3 custom cakes made at the Poway Walmart Bakery. The bakery ladies are awesome and are super helpful. The “boy bye” was definitely my favorite. The piping was super crisp. The other two cakes, I felt like the piping around the borders and writing wasn’t as neat. But you can’t beat the price. I love making a strawberry compote and syrup to accompany the cake.

Back again with another cake order. This time it was for my friend’s baby shower. Cake came out super cute!”

“Love the new click the link and pay ahead for your prescriptions. You will find this accessible in the text you receive when your prescription is ready. It's so quick and easy. Tip, complete the transaction before you go to pick up your prescription otherwise if in line there will be a delay for the payment to transact which means you wait (I found out the hard way). My service at this location has always been as expected so no complaints.”

“I went to the Poway, Calif. Walgreens on Sunday, July 26 to print many pictures on the quiosk. I was having a hard time printing the pictures with their new system, although it is easier for me now with practice. I asked Ariana to help me. She was extremely patient, kind and personable and she spent two hours with me! She also waited on other customers, but kept coming back to me because I needed so much help. She also looked up the various discounts I could get, including a senior discount. Ariana is an outstanding employee; she deserves a raise or a promotion. I would also like to commend another employee, Yuri. I have seen him working at Walgreens for years, and he is consistently friendly to every customer. He is so helpful and took the time to come up to me to ask if I needed help another time when I was at the photo quiosk. He consistently greets customers with a big smile as they enter. He asked another lady the other day if she needed help carrying things to her car. These two, Ariana and Yuri, are amazing; they should be promoted to Walgreens management. They both go above and beyond their normal expected duties. Ariana and Yuri are outstanding workers but they also have warm, friendly personalities that are so appreciated and needed in a public service job.”
