“We did a kitchen remodel several years ago and our contractor recommended KitchenSync as the place to get our cabinets. They worked with us to get the best choice to fit our budget and layout. (We got Mid-Continent cherry cabinets that we're really happy with.) Fast forward to 2022 and a hinge on one cabinet door had come loose, causing the door to sag slightly I called the shop and asked if we needed a special tool because Phillips and slot screwdrivers were not working very well. Jeffrey looked into it and confirmed that we needed a Pozidrive #2 bit (available at Ace Hardware for $2). Sure enough, problem solved. The point being, they are great to work with and will stand by their products and customers years after the sale. Can't ask for more.”

“This is one of my favorite stores in Chinatown, it's a lot like the Ben Franklin shops of my childhood. They have great toys, crafts, hardware, housewares, accessories, and pajamas and shoes, and snacks! They really do have everything. We get our house slippers here. You can't beat their prices and the owners are pleasant.”
“Berkeley Design Center remodeled our master bathroom. They not only did a fantastic job, but they were extremely considerate—being there when we expected them, and keeping their workspace clean. It was a challenging job, since our space is relatively small, but their design was beautiful and the execution of the design was masterful. Also, with their guidance we were able to get the best state of the art fixtures and beautiful accessories. We are so happy with them we plan to use them for our future remodeling projects. I highly recommend them.”

“I have shopped her for over 15years and it is always my first stop when I am looking for a new plumbing fixture or need to troubleshoot something.
Recently, I called asking for help locating a kitchen faucet spray replacement (for a fixture I did not get from Moran). They not only helped me, they located the part number and told me it had a lifetime warranty through the company. I emailed the company and they sent me the replacement! This was so above and beyond and speaks to the high level of care, knowledge and customer service they provide.”
“I spent the past few months visiting different stores while shopping for kitchen cabinets, and I eventually found myself at Sincere Decor. At first, I hesitated and wasn’t sure if I had come to the right place. However, after comparing prices with other stores I had visited, I found their pricing to be very reasonable.

“I was changing out my EV plug for a Hubbel brand NEMA 14.50 and my old faceplate didn't fit. Home Depot was useless, an employee recommended Bayshore.
These guys are fantastic! I am not an electrician, just a very handy individual. Bayshore knew exactly what my issue was and sold me just what I needed. I will definitely shop here again.”

Tl;Dr Granite Expo has a great price point for relatively good quality solid wood cabinets compared to other places that costs more or uses MDF.
My SIL recommended me Granite Expo for their price point and quality. They use Milzen brand cabinets and the cabinet builder is just 2 minutes away from their Oakland store. My review is on the kitchen cabinets and purchasing process.
I shopped around with other local SF, Oakland, and Hayward cabinet shops and had a rendering made from their Emeryville location before deciding to move forward with buying from Granite Expo. I was able to speak to a rep within 10 minutes with my rendering to place my order, we did 15 cabinets in M21 Hollis White cabinets (shaker style) and it was ready to pick up within the same week. On pick up day, we brought our truck and made 2 runs. They helped load in which was so helpful!

My son doesn’t like fish but he loves IKEA’s lemon garlic cod, which tastes very delicious. BTW, they only offer this garlic cod on the weekends. Recommended coming here for quick dinner, nice views with big windows, & super clean.”
