“We used UPack to move cross country. It was a good experience. We appreciated that we knew exactly what we would pay, and that we paid by the foot so it was very clear. We are do-it- yourself kind of people. If you want everything done for you it might not be the best option. We were warned that it isn't a moving van, it's a cargo trailer, so plan accordingly. That means, pad everything with lots of bubble wrap, pack the trailer tightly and to the roof, and get plenty of ratcheting straps to hold it all in. We had friend and family help loading, and it took 4 of us the full 3 days they gave us, but we hired a company to unload, which took 3 guys 3 hours with some help from us. UPack was on time, if not earlier than we expected. They did drop off the trailer at our destination on the first day of our 3 day window, which we weren't expecting, but it was fine. The movers came the second day as planned, and UPack picked the trailer up at dawn on the 3rd day. We got everything with just the most minimal damage; a corner of an ironing board, a little dent in a chair. All wine glasses in one piece (see: bubble wrap).If you do this, you need to get permits at each end to park the trailer for 3 days. UPack won't park unless they see them. Do your part, they'll do theirs, and all will be well.”

“Jack and Billy were amazing. They had a daunting task moving me from 5 acres to a townhouse. Even though I sold, gifted, and donated a lot of items, I still had tons left. They were professionals from the start, knew their business, kept on task, never said a negative word about issues (doorway into kitchen was too small to get frig in), were inventive, and on top of that they were kind. I had a big, heavy, solid wood desk (see picture)which my late dad made. They hauled it up stairs with a treacherous turn in the middle, with ease. No scratches or nicks on my walls or doorways. And they were very affordable. Most definitely would recommend and would hire them again.”

“This company was polite, fair, and a pleasure to do business with. We had done all the packing and moving of most of the boxes, and we had them protect and move the large items. It was still two truckloads.They came to my home and gave me a quote, we had a second stop to make, and they did not see what was at the second stop before the day of moving.We did some re-negotiating on the final price, since the second stop took more than expected, but they were fair about it, and actively worked the problem to find a solution.I will definitely use them next time I move, and I would definitely recommend them.”

“I own a tow company so I am always worried about my drivers providing emergency roadside assistance on the freeway. While on a personal trip S/B 99 on 6/25/2021 at approximately 19:25 hours, I watched a Capital Express Lines’ truck observe the Slow Down or Move Over law for a passenger vehicle broke down on the side of the highway. This was one truck in a line of seven other truck/trailers. If I could have given that driver a hug, I would have because if other truckers were as observant and courteous as this one, my drivers and other members of the general public would be a lot safer in otherwise very unsafe circumstances. I now have great respect for your company simply because of this driver’s obvious respect for the Slow Down or Move Over law.”

“I had a massively heavy cast iron tub in the side yard that I needed brought inside into the bathroom to refinish it. I called Efrain on a Sunday, no less, and he was here Monday as promised with a solid crew. They hefted that beast up and carried it up the porch stairs and carefully into the bathroom of my 1921 home with no damage. They were nice, patient and professional. Plus, the price was more than reasonable, especially considering they drove up to South Butte County from Sacramento! Couldn't give them more stars or I would!”
