“I stayed here for one night for a Nuts game. This is one of the nicest Hampton Inn I've been in. It's in an out of the way place, next to a few restaurants and a Huckleberry's. The staff was super nice and friendly. The room is modern, and the TV has streaming options (a big plus in 2025). Breakfast was standard. The only small negative is that housekeeping knocked at my door way before check out time, but they probably had their schedule messed up. Honestly, this might be the best bang for your buck stay in Modesto. I would definitely recommend it.”

“I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. Cynthia checked me in, and she was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I was staying for my birthday, and she went above and beyond to make sure my accommodations were perfect.

The room was spotless—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning—great variety and everything was fresh and tasty.

Thank you so much, Cynthia, for helping make my birthday trip so memorable. I truly appreciate the excellent service and would definitely stay here again!”

“? Exceptional Service at Holiday Inn – Thanks to Petty! ?

I had the pleasure of checking in with Petty at the front desk, and her service truly stood out. She went above and beyond to match the lowest online rate for my stay, ensuring I got the best value without the hassle. What really impressed me was her warm, friendly demeanor—Petty genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable and welcome.
Petty is a shining example of hospitality done right, and she made my stay at Holiday Inn even more enjoyable. Thank you, Petty!”

“Ann the morning front deck lady was so kind and pleasant. She was very helpful with information and directions. I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future. I would like to make one request. Almond milk, I am diaryfree and soyfree. So it was difficult to eat quite a bit of food items. The hard boiled eggs were a treat. Thank you.

Rooms: Wow. Very clean and comfortable. 5 star on my list.”

“The Residence Inn Modesto North has been hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had at hotel. Everything from the room amenities to the wonderful patio and restaurant was great. I was fortunate enough to be helped by everyone from servers to ownership and was treated like family. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Rooms: Rooms are very clean and have ever amenity you could want.

Safety: Nice part of town and property is very clean.

Food and drinks: The cafe and bar area were fantastic!”

“Easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in years! The prime location of this hotel makes it an easy destination to stay between the Bay Area and if you're visiting the national parks (Yosemite). Within walking distance, you will find several restaurants and fast food chains for food. The rooms were very nice, the service was incredible. Something I wanted to highlight was the free breakfast they offer here. Hands down THE BEST breakfast I have ever eaten in any hotel! There're so many food items, and the fresh food they make is fantastic. The lady who works in the pantry and prepares the breakfast was super kind and nice, I would give this hotel 5 stars just because of how genuine, kind she was towards helping everyone in the hotel. What an awesome person! Anyways yeah, a pretty solid hotel to stay at.”

“This is one of the better places to stay in Modesto for the price! Front desk was informative in every aspect. KYm from the (front) desk is amazing! She was the light of the day helping out and getting us checked in. Definitely will use this location again in the future.”

“Overall this was a good stay.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
A downfall is that the walls are very thin and noises from the hallway and outside were not muffled at all. I’m from a major city so I was used to the traffic noise, however I recommend getting a room away from the freeway/main road.

The gym and common areas were adequate, however parking is limited. If you get in late, there may not be spots.

Breakfast and Coffee was “acceptable” but I ended up going to the Starbucks which was minutes away.

Overall I would come back to this location when traveling.”

“This may have been the best hotel experience I have ever had. My room was spotless, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I booked through hotels.com and needed to add a day and they walked me through the entire process and made sure I could stay in the same room. The continental breakfast was tasty and available every day. There’s a nice little pool and hot tub that were clean. If you want to work out there’s a fitness center as well. Lastly, the location is a huge draw as well. Safety isn’t a concern. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a huge Bass Pro Shop across the street.”

“This place isn't the Hilton. It's cozy and the owners are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. They have run this motel for many many years and I recommend this motel for those who don't need the spoils of today's accommodations. It's more for a quick night's rest when you're traveling and just need a little rest . The place is alright. I like the owners . They are very cool especially the wife.”

“The Room sizes are Large, clean and comfortable, everything works, also directly across the street is a grocery outlet, dollar tree, and convenient store for those who need a drink after a long drive, As well as a Gas station, McDonald's, and other places just down the block.

Safety: The area is well lit, and staff take care of the property with security cameras and live in management.”

“The place is locked down tight. FeeIs safe. The Wifi signal is weak at best. The morning coffee is consistently very good. Housekeeping is through and polite and the place is very clean. And I stayed there for two weeks and never had any issues with management, even though I lost my key several times, I was always given a new one without question or attitude. The rooms were comfortable and the price was competitive. I'll stay here again.”

“Large, pleasant, very beautiful hotel with up-to-date maintenance. It's right in the center of Modesto, which makes it easy to go out to dinner on foot and walk around the center. Attentive reception. I needed the maintenance to take place in my room because I couldn't turn on the bathtub tap, in fact I was afraid it would break. Maintenance came quickly and cordially explained how to open and close it. Here in the United States they don't assume that you are obligated to know anything so I feel very comfortable asking questions and asking for help as they love to help. The hotel's only defect was, given the price per night and the size of the hotel, it didn't have breakfast included and you still had to pay for parking. Okay, parking was $17 with valet, but it could be cheaper. There is a coffee machine in the room, but given the size of the hotel, you could have had a simple breakfast.

Rooms: Spacious, clean, quiet

Walkability: I'm in the city center, close to everything and even the train station.”
