The artists we met were welcoming and lovely people. We wanted to make it back for the art show but we’ll just have to come back on a future trip.”
“Really liked looking around this vintage clothing shop. They have a pretty cool mix of older styles, jackets, shirts, and other pieces that you dont see in regular stores. I took my time going through the racks and ended up finding a couple things that fit really well. The prices seemed fair for most of the stuff too. The person working there was friendly but also gave me space to browse, which I appreciate. The whole place has a laid-back feel and it was actually fun just checking everything out. I’ll probably swing back in sometime and see what they get in next.”
“Claudia (Amazing Chicana Textile Artist) and her shop Sew Loka are a hidden gem! I wanted to learn to upcycle men’s shirts and was fortunate to have a private sewing lesson with Claudia. I was so impressed with her creativity and sewing skills. I feel empowered to take what she taught me and upcycle everything! What a gift she is to the sewing and Chicano community”
“Love this big place for finding hidden treasures. Lots of vintage dishware, tea pots, and glassware. Tons of cool stuff to browse through. Lots of furniture. Wish they had some MCM coffee tables too, hopefully they'll get more of that kind of furniture in.”

“El Centro has something for everyone. If you are looking to decorate your house, patio, or garden, this is the place! There are Talavera items, pottery, chimes, beads, and so much more. Located in Old Town San Diego and close to the train station. I love this place and recommend it to those who love Mexican style pottery.”

“I keep returning to this store not only for their fun selection at reasonable prices, but the STAFF! I get really stressed out when shopping because I have a hard time finding things that fit and look good. I always hope JT is working when I go because she’s so patient and helpful when picking out stuff for me. I always leave with something I’m obsessed with and I don’t feel awkward asking for help because they offer it without being pushy trying to sell you things you don’t need. I love this place ❤️”

“Bought a wall bed and several beautiful paintings for a family event. It was amazing. Comfortable bed and after guests left we folded it up and have plenty of room in our game room! The paintings were such an upgrade to the warmth of the room.

“Very large, clean, and well curated! Each stall is arranged neatly, with plenty of items to browse through. There is a distinct absence of dust, musty smells, and random items tossed about - everything was well maintained and displayed thoughtfully. We thought we had explored the whole place, only to find another giant section we had missed!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming to me and my partner. I put my dog in my backpack to carry her inside, but soon after we walked in, an employee let us know that the store loves dogs, and encouraged us to let her stroll around with us (leashed of course!)”
“We were moving to another state and called several Estate Companies. They came to our home and told us that we had so much stuff and that what we needed was someone that would buy out all our stuff. They recommendedSteve Mattson's company. It was the best recommendation we ever got. Steve came within a few days, we told him what we were getting rid of, he made us an offer on all of it, which we accepted. The next day his workers showed up and took everything agreed upon. They were so fast, efficient, professional and polite. It was a God send for us. We had more stuff as we sorted our attic and storage and had Steve come back the next week and made an offer as before and his workers showed up the next day and did it again... fast, efficient, professional and polite. It was amazing to see them work. Our neighbor and our realtor have both asked for their name as they saw what was happening. They took everything including a toilet we had on the side of our house. I would give them more stars if I could. Mattson Company was the perfect solution for our needs. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting to clean out houses, apartments or storages. A TEN star company no doubt!!”
“Really cool place to find down in Liberty Station! We came down here for the Art Walk and then just stumbled along this shop, which was really a god-send from the afternoon heat and sun. Lots of little booths to look around out, and a good mixture of vintage items (clothing, books, glassware), newer items from local individual artists, and then your typical tourist stuff repping SD and its different little areas and magnets! Nice place to just wander about and look around - easily spend about 1.5 hours here if you're really looking!”

“A lot to see in this semi-hidden Golden Hill neighborhood shop. A real dynamic selection of 1970s pottery, but also vintage art, wooden boxes, metaphysical accessories, quirky glasswear, jewelry and such. I've been here many times but there is always something different. Mostly handmade and unique things.”

“I love this place. It's a time capsule. Just imagine if we all still dressed like this the world would be so much fun. The quality of clothing back then was much better. Some of the clothing was altered to create a more playful look, but it still good quality! My family and I had so much fun there. We were 3 generations, me being the oldest. I'll be 64 in two weeks, my daughter 40, my grandson 16. The Hillcrest area is a safe feeling environment with plenty of things to do and places to eat. ❤”
“This is my go-to spot in Hillcrest for gay clothes! They have clothing, hats, and a few home items. The owner is very nice and there is a changing room if you want to try anything on.Warning: The only thing I am not 100% sure of is that when I was inside the dressing room, I could see two cameras from inside the store pointed in my direction. How do I know if those cameras can see me, or if I am barely out of the camera sight? That's sketchy to me. Please be aware of your surroundings, always. I do not mean to accuse the owner of anything bad, but I feel the cameras need to be placed somewhere completely out of sight of the dressing rooms.”

“TL;DR: A great little shop to find great used clothes, just expect to pay a little more for that curated touch.
Day to Day Vintage is a great little store with a great selection of vintage clothing. They do have a lack luster amount of plus sizes, excluding the usual 45 inseam Carhartt pants. The pricing at this location is, in my opinion, slightly above reasonable. Used pieces being sold at/above retail price is nothing unusual in the reseller market, and this store is no exception. Albeit; they do have 2 sections more price-friendly located in both the front and the back of the shop, one rack exclusively $10 shirts, the other rack $20 shirts. Definitely more digestible prices here than similar stores. Staff members are very friendly and welcoming, I've never personally had any negative experiences with any of them.”
