“Love love this place! From home good you don't know you need, to Japanese snacks and candy, stationary and office supplies and the cutest stuffed animals you could ever imagine! This is the place to shop for teens as well as there's all kinds of trinkets youngsters LOVE. The entire store is super clean and orderly. The staff is very friendly too! The cashiers seem to have prices memorized too! Super gray value for items that you could shop elsewhere for much higher cost. This place is not marked up and still offers good quality! Wish they had a closer location to South Bay! In the near future?”

“I had the pleasure of visiting the East Village store 12/5/23. What a sweet and pleasant surprise to see how accommodating this employer was to a new mom. At first glance, her front pack was invisible, completely blending into her black shirt. From the side view, her precious infant's face was partly visible, contentedly sleeping and snuggling mom during the work shift. It was a very touching thing to see and made me smile the rest of the day. I remember how grueling it was in 1998, juggling daycare drop-offs and pick-ups, breastfeeding and pumping, while still trying to find enough energy to actually do my job at the office. Kudos to this EV store! It was incredibly uplifting to see some progress has been made in this regard over the last 25 years.?????”

“Best souvenir shop in Old Town San Diego. Extensive inventory so you can find any souvenir you might be looking for. Been coming here since I was a kid. Employees are nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a restroom which is a plus when you're shopping for a while!”

“Cool store....not everything is .99 cents. The prices are on the items if it's not a dollar. Has a little bit of pretty much everything imaginable!! Except NO ICE! They don't sell ice!! Oh and milk...only sell boxed milk. However they do put it in the fridge so its cold. Too expensive though in my opinion...$2.99 for a quart. If I remember correctly it's half of a half gallon for $3, I think that's too much! Other than that the ice in the milk the store is really cool! It has clothes, underwear, socks, hats, all snacks cookies crackers, cooking oils, bathroom amenities, cooking pots pans, even home decor! If you've never been it's worth going to check it out!”

“Cute little place. I didn’t think it was real but it is. Everything is like 1.29 and up not bad reminds me of the 99cents stores in nyc queens. Was able to get some basic things. Cheap made in China/India but worth the dollar. Also the map location is wrong it’s more like a little pass the corner. Next to the Mexican food spot.”

“I really love this store! I always find all kinds of beautiful things here! Such as clothes, decorations, household items, picture frames, wall hangings, shoes, furniture, pet supplies and even food! And the think I love is that all products are new and of good brands and good material and at a low price! I love Dd's Discounts so much! The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I got hired to work here one time and they didn't train me and immediately put me as a cashier not having any experience and I didn't like that. But besides from that, this store is awesome! I highly recommend customers to come shop here!”

“I got pissed Walmart didn’t have a certain item. They had it here. So it wasn’t too wasted of a trip. Their juice here is awesome. I can spend a lot of money here. They have good items. Kind of strange items they sell. My neighbors love my pet feeders. Decorations are plenty here. Their food is off brands. But good quality. It has weird stuff. I like this store. Good seasonal stuff and sale items.”

“Dollar Tree on Murphy Canyon Road. had a grand reopening Saturday with new inventory and modernized the store. I started going to Dollar Tree recently because of the current economy. Just getting the essentials now days puts a big dent In the paycheck. Plus some items at the Dollar Tree just make sense to buy. I love this location because the staff is over the top friendly, the store is neat and clean, ordinary people who are just trying save a buck shop there, and it's interesting looking at the new stuff they get in each week. My wife is into crafts and this is her favor place to be, Go check it out. It's fun!”

After filling my cart with amazing buys for everyone , lines were winding towards the back of store.. but as they should, staff opened up every register and were as polite and in control as if it was easy everyday thing..to be this busy a location.
