“I had an excellent experience at iGenius Repair at UTC Mall. The staff was extremely professional, honest, and efficient.
My phone was restarting every 3–4 minutes. I had previously gone to another repair shop, Logic Fix, where they immediately claimed it was a motherboard issue without properly diagnosing the phone and quoted me $250. When I asked whether it could be caused by something else, they were dismissive and insisted that I pay $250 regardless of what the actual problem was.
In contrast, iGenius opened and inspected my phone for free. They carefully diagnosed the issue and told me that, fortunately, it was only a bad battery. They replaced it in about 20 minutes, and my phone has been working perfectly since then.
They saved me a significant amount of money and gave me complete confidence in their work. Their honesty, technical expertise, and customer-first attitude really stood out. I highly recommend iGenius Repair to anyone looking for trustworthy and professional phone repair service.”

“I have a 48’ blue water sailboat built in 2006. I planned a voyage from San Diego into the Sea of Cortez in 2023. I decided to upgrade the original electronics. I was frustrated trying to work with a couple of electronics installation professional on Shelter Island. A friend suggested I give Upgrade Marine a call. I called and was immediately impressed with their customer service and general knowledge of electronics. They came in and helped me understand what makes sense for what I wanted to accomplish. They did an outstanding job installing a new Raymarine system. I made the voyage into the sea of Cortez and back to San Diego. The electronics performed very well and really improved the journey and continue to work great to this day 6,000NM later. Fast forward to 2025 and I planned another voyage down to Cabo San Lucas and back. My AGM batteries were aged out and it was time to make a change. I worked with Upgrade Marine to install a Victron LiFePO4 system, add a high output alternator and improved solar panels. Again, Upgrade Marine did an outstanding job for me in all respects. I appreciated their clever use of space and installation designed to withstand heavy seas. I tested the new system at sea and at anchor on a 30-day journey to Cabo and back to San Diego. The system performed flawlessly. I highly recommend Upgrade Marine.”

I've gotten ripped off other places and I refuse to want to go to any other phone repair technician due to actually feeling like Tony is the only dude I know so far in SD that's genuinely helped the best he can with my phone situation and I've had a pretty bad history of not being able take care of my phones so trust me when I say I'm definitely a regular and have recommended my friends to him too outside of Yelp. I went to get my Iphone unlocked and I ended up buying a iphone that was already unlocked for CHEAP, IMPECCABLE condition the iPhone is pretty much brand new not 1 scratch & the battery is 97% omg I am so in love thaaaan I went to him 2 weeks later to buy my husband a iphone as well & I have to say I am more than happy! “At 9:30 this morning I went on igeek website and scheduled an eval of my malfunctioning iphone. I input my credit card, paid $35.00, and scheduled myself for a 1:00 pm appointment using the scheduler provided on igeek website. At 12:30 pm I received a text stating that my appointment request was denied. Not impressed and thanks for the inconvenience. I hope my $35 payment didn't go through. Follow-up, later in the afternoon igeeks contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to reschedule me. I appreciate their follow-up and understand life happens and that they did their best to remedy the problem. Much appreciated, great customer service in the end.”
