Filled out a short form for the recycling and we were on our way in just 5 minutes. This is my new go to place for electronic recycling!”

“I took my iPhone to this store (HMB Cellular on El Cajon Blvd) two days ago. It was damaged when I slammed my car hatch door while the phone was sitting right on the latch. It certainly damaged the screen severely but also a dent on the back of the phone. I was certain the mother board inside was probably damaged. The young man at the front counter, whose name I don’t recall, was extremely kind and helpful. He kept Re-assuring me that although it looked bad, it was still possible for the inside to be intact. He proceeded to open the phone and checked all inside parts in detail which took him a good hour, and told me the phone was still completely intact and that only the screen would be needed to be replaced. He replaced the screen. My phone works as well as it did prior to the damage. Thank you HMB Cellular)! I can now see why you have 382 reviews and all with 5 stars! I will certainly be referring friends and family!”

“Don't even think about going to another Metro store!! The STAFF ARE what make this store PHENOMENAL... besides it being right on the trolley route. It's the staff that make the vibe here FUN! They work ridiculously to get you the best deal researching everything before proceeding with you and mind. They are just the right amount of personable, sharing riveting stories while you wait--which is way faster than the other stores. They make you feel like you have a family member who works for Metro: giving you the best deal! THEY CARE & IT SHOWS!! Christian was so patient when my phone went black screen and had to deal with my children getting sick before coming in and buying a new phone having given me all the research and spending a lot of time with me before I made my purchase a different day. Even came back in for me, after clocking out! Gabriel, the manager, was so professional, educated, and empathetic to my particular situation. He even informed me that my phone that blacked out is under warranty and would only cost $25. He absolutely did not have to do that, saving $$money!Christian & Gabriel worked like customer service agents back in the '90s, when customer service was awesome! They really did not have to care so much about me and my kids but they took such time out of their own schedules even past closing to get everything right with my account adding a third line and getting me the best deal with the additional phone. They worked within my minimal budget and sick kids in attendance to get it done! I watched as Gabriel educated a foreigner as to the best way to save money not trying to push a sale when most would have. I cannot rave enough about all the staff here and their care for customers, truly caring about customers and their unique human conditions!! They even treat the indigent population that surrounds their store with respect & empathy. Heck I'm ready to vote for the 2 for Pres & VP in 2024... YOU WILL LOVE THIS STORE. Go!”

“I had a pleasurable time while visiting this store, especially because I don't know a lot when it comes to phones and technology, so I was really surprised how the people that work here are extremely nice and have a lot of patience. They explained me with every single detail how their promos work, they helped find the perfect device for me and my needs because I work on construction so I needed something capable to resists accidents. Plus, their tempered glass and cases are really good, it will help me a lot when I go to work and feel safe. He's also a Denver Broncos fan and that touched the human side of car repair for me a lot!! Besides from football, this man is caring and a wonderful customer service rep for his company and does his job tremendously well. The trust factor is off the charts! “I went in with my 87 yr old dad and his 2g phone. Orendo gave us fantastic customer service. He was knowledgeable enough to convince us we needed to replace it and left us confident we were getting the right replacement. He was patient with my dad who wanted to know everything Orendo was doing. My dad is no longer tech friendly and Elvis is too modern for him. The fact that he left the store with new technology and a smile on his face is almost a miracle. Orendo was a breath of fresh air in what we both thought would be a tedious chore.”

So itis with great Excitement that I am able to give 5 to this 711. It is by far the best 711 across the country. 1) Polite and generous and genuinely friendly staff, not fake smile hiding smirks and bad attitudes; 2) The Place is CLEAN, it's so nice in there. Shelves stocked, neat, clean, organized, the soda machine works, they have produce and a great selection of prepared packaged healthy snacks right as you walk in the door, 3) the food vendor inside does a really good job of selection and it's good. She was nice to me, like a real nice person. I know its wierd that this has to be emphasized but ...? ... So thanks for the breakfast burrito choizo con juevosy papas ala Mexicana, the friendly and efficient staff, the clean and bright ? ? facility. Generally speaking, as far as businesses go, this 711 is a great business ? and it is definitely a sign of the leadership for selecting quality humans who do a great job as a team of employees! ?
