“I had a crash in December 13th 2025. I was heading south from the avenues towards Golden Gate Park and saw a lady turning wide right into the left hand lane where I was. I stopped a good thirty away from the intersection but she still slammed into me.
Called insurance and they sent a tow truck from here right away. Took no time at all. The guy Leo was sympathetic, helped me get my stuff out, and took it directly to the shop. 5/5 so far.
The insurance set things up. They gave a quote. And they said it would take 15 days to repair (Lots of parts to replaces). Here's where there's trouble. No one called me about signing the authorization to repair. I had to call them myself to get all the information and then get it sent over, and then call again to confirm they received it and got to work.
Then problem number 2. It was the holidays so I assume that affected the rate at which they worked. The 29th comes along and no one calls me. Not the insurance. Not them. Nobody. I call and it turns out I'll need to wait another week. And another week. And another week. The same thing three times.
I thought this was a big place with lots of workers. When I finally got there in late January I find it's a place with a single tech, two office ladies, and one other guy doing the small stuff, which explains why everything was so slow and no one ever followed up and updated me properly like the large auto body shops.
Here's why I give it 5/5. The car was immaculate and you couldn't tell it was ever in a crash. Perfectly clean and even the scratches I had in other places were gone like it was brand new. I couldn't believe it was all done by a single guy. If it wasn't perfect work I'd have given them 3.5 for how I was hoofing it to work for almost a month wondering when I was going to get my car back. As for the cost, my insurance paid for everything.
That was my experience.”
