“Wonderful experience, pickup was quick and thorough, staffer Carrington Collins let us pick our car and he explained the features and checked it over, Nissan Rogue performed well. Return went smoothly, drove into return garage, staff checked it over and made sure we emptied it of all belongings. Took the train back to terminal. All very smooth. Thanks!”

“My experience was quite positive overall. It started off badly when I was offered a rather old Jeep Compass with about 20 scratches, but only 10 of them were recorded in the protocol. A woman from SIXT agreed to add the remaining scratches, but eventually my patience ran out, and I insisted on changing the car. The new car was a much newer GMC Terrain, which was great. Still, they shouldn’t have such junk in their fleet at all — I don’t understand why I was offered it in the first place. The guy working on the floor with the cars was great, though — unfortunately, I don’t remember his name.”

They were super helpful and even suggested local spots to visit where we were traveling to. I left my purse in the car on accident and flew out of the city before I realized. City Rent a Car found it and priority shipped it to me in 2 days across the country!! “Rented an amazing Jeep Wagoneer to take 7 of us up to Sonoma. Pick up and drop off was very fast and efficient. Location is in an area known for homelessness. I’m from a city so doesn’t bother me and I walked to and from location from my hotel without any issue. You could always taxi there if it concerns you.”

“Ran into a sudden severe snowstorm in Portland, Oregon where I had rented a car through Getaround. Had to have it towed back to the home zone. Called Getaround support and they worked hard and did their best to ensure a good experience for me regarding the rental and made sure I was safe. They promised over the phone everything would be worked out and they kept to their word. Five stars for ease of use of their platform and great customer service. -Jesse from Portland”

“I walked in in a weekday just after the place open, but still need to wait for a long queue. it'll be much quicker if you place an appointment and arrange everything through internet. Then only basic license check needed there. It's a not big garage compared to airports rental center, but I got an American Muscle there Dodge Challenger. This beginning lighted on my West Coast road trip.”

“Thought I had to swap cars with a front tire with low pressure this morning.
Location didn’t have enough cars to swap, but offered to refill the tire air with their compressor and said to monitor. Should I see a low tire alert again suggested a few locations in the direction I’m headed.
White glove treatment for someone who didn’t even rent from this location. I appreciate them especially in the name of safety going that extra mile to make sure I was okay. Thank you!”

“I already love National but I had an especially incredible experience at this location working with Laith. I was originally given an older Hyundai sedan but after mentioning I'm an Emerald member and was hoping for something a bit more modern he upgraded me for free to a Nissan crossover SUV which made my day. That alone made the experience awesome but a few days later when I suffered a freak accident dog attack and bite and was stuck an hour away from SF unable to return the car to the same location he was so empathetic and understanding over the phone helping me figure out where to return it instead and how to minimize costs. I'm so grateful for his help and in a week that was so traumatizing and overwhelming, I really appreciated not needing to excessively worry about how to return a rental car of all things. Thank you Laith!!”

“I was born in San Francisco and have lived here a number of times. I always saw those cars but they seemed too tourist oriented. Coming back for a visit after 10 years and renting a GoCar to see the city was a lot of fun. My wife just laughed most of the time.
I recommend it as an option, if you have 3 hours to just hangout together and want a quick tour of the city.”
