Ace technician Ben opened it up, patiently removed several tiny bits of schmutz under the crystal and muttered some sort of magic spell - now it’s keeping perfect time once again. “I was introduced to Eric Mendell , the owner of the Patek Philippe and Rolex boutiques in Union Square, through a friend. We came in on a Saturday morning to get our rings resized, and the owner (Ken) was incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. He resized both rings in about 40 minutes and also polished them and tightened the diamonds at a very affordable price. Our rings are both vintage and look brand new, and the craftsmanship and service were exceptional. I added a picture of the ring (bottom on my pinkie ☺️) for reference. “I went by today to get a battery replacement for my watch. The lovely lady who helped me prior was there and she informed me that the person who does the battery replacement had stepped out and he’d return later. I left my watch with them. I returned 20 mins later and the gentleman who replaced my watch battery was thorough and showed me pics of inside my watch and it looked like the previous battery was corroded. He even took the time to go over everything and gave me a referral for a watch repair.

They also looked at a different Omega that I left with them to have serviced. They got back to me quickly and said it was in fine shape, no service needed. I came by to pick it up and there was no charge. I highly recommend them! They are friendly, professional, and expert at Gears & Jewels.”

He said no costs. I was in total shock. I insisted paying him. He said no.
