“My vintage Raymond Weil tank watch hadn’t been worn for several years. After having a new battery installed it was literally making up for lost time by running way too fast. Ace technician Ben opened it up, patiently removed several tiny bits of schmutz under the crystal and muttered some sort of magic spell - now it’s keeping perfect time once again. When I win the lottery, I’ll be in for an upgraded timepiece.

“May’s is a true gem! My friend and I had an amazing experience at May’s Jewelry. We came in on a Saturday morning to get our rings resized, and the owner (Ken) was incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. He resized both rings in about 40 minutes and also polished them and tightened the diamonds at a very affordable price. Our rings are both vintage and look brand new, and the craftsmanship and service were exceptional. I added a picture of the ring (bottom on my pinkie ☺️) for reference. I will definitely be coming back for all my future jewelry needs!! Thank you, Ken!”

“I went by today to get a battery replacement for my watch. The lovely lady who helped me prior was there and she informed me that the person who does the battery replacement had stepped out and he’d return later. I left my watch with them. I returned 20 mins later and the gentleman who replaced my watch battery was thorough and showed me pics of inside my watch and it looked like the previous battery was corroded. He even took the time to go over everything and gave me a referral for a watch repair.

“Jean-Pierre and Anne-Marie are all about their customers. They helped me resize two bracelets for my Omega Speedmasters same day with a reasonable charge. They also looked at a different Omega that I left with them to have serviced. They got back to me quickly and said it was in fine shape, no service needed. I came by to pick it up and there was no charge. I highly recommend them! They are friendly, professional, and expert at Gears & Jewels.”
“I wanted to shout out to Peter, young gentleman helped me with my Gucci watch. He didn't hesitate to help me. I explained my situation and he replaced new battery. I asked him how much. He said no costs. I was in total shock. I insisted paying him. He said no. He advised that my watch did not pass some kind of test and recommended to go to repair shop that specialized on Gucci brand. I was so touched. “The store is in the 8th floor of a building. I came here to remove some links from Movado watch my husband just gifted me. They are not really a museum but a certified center to do services for Movado, Omega, Gucci, etc. The two people running the place are bit traditional but very knowledgeable. They don't communicate in a way to upsell you anything, but do a good job in maintenance your products. I would come back here again for other services.”
