“I really liked this place. There are some downsides like it’s a bit dated. We had a room that faced on the to freeway and the sliding glass door to the patio was thin and about 30 years old. But it’s a friendly safe place with a great price. It’s quiet and safe and the breakfast was really good.”

“One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed it at any price. By far the best room I’ve ever found, when price considered. This is a $200+ room for half that price. Just an absolute gem of a spot. Hidden from the road. Updated rooms with quality everything. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Comfortable sitting chair with foot stool. Granite counter and work desk. Tiled, modern and stylish bathroom. Even the front door is luxury all wood. Touch lamps. Smart TV. Honestly can’t be over stated how great this place is. Free filtered water dispenser in lobby. Really good complimentary coffee in room and lobby. Warm friendly owner. 10/10, 5 stars, supreme value and comfort.Rooms: A bargain at twice the price! 10/10 room.Food & drinks: Tons of great choices in San Rafael. Lotus for Indian. Sol Food for Puerto Rican”

“Great location near Point Reyes National Seashore. The Ridge room had outstanding views. I loved watching the various birds on the property. Breakfast was very good, also. I would definitely stay here when I return!”

“Pancake breakfast review only!!!Pancake breakfasts are every second Sunday of the month between August and October or something like that. (Check the website.)My husband, our dog, and I happened to be looking for a nice hike on the second Sunday of September, and I remembered making this hike as a teen with my family. We parked near the Mountain Home Inn at about 11:30am and made our way up past the firehouse. At the dirt road, there's a fork that leads straight or up a set of stairs to the left. Take the stairs! We followed these instructions (the mountain inn one): westpointinn.com/hike-bi…It was about 2 miles up to the inn. I love hills so it wasn't a problem for me at all but my husband is from a very flat part of the United States and his legs were burning. He's pretty fit too .. just not accustomed to the hills. The hike was beautiful, shady and not too crowded. The path was a little narrow - enough for one person comfortably and for people passing each other but not to walk side by side. The path was a bit rocky too so be careful. We made it to the top and I got in line while my fiancé waited with the dog. The line was about 30 min to get through which according to one of the volunteers was the shortest it's been all day. This was at about 12:10pm ish. By the time I ordered and got the food, it was 12:45ish. We sat in the shade on a hill as there were no shaded picnic tables left. And it was quite crowded. I brought my pup's water bowl and water. There are bathrooms on the inn's porch or porta-potties. I got the child vegetarian plate ($8) and my husband got the adult plate with blueberries ($13). The size of the pancakes between our plates was the same. I got 3 pancakes and ate 2 of them. He ate my 3rd. He got 3 pancakes and 2 sausages. I was definitely full but I don't eat a lot. He was hungry by the time we got back down to the car. I thought this was a fun experience. We weren't expecting a Michelin star meal so as long as you're not expecting that either, you will have a nice time. The view of the bay is beautiful. It was crowded and hot but still fun to support a local establishment and get a little hike in, too!”

“Awesome spot on Sutter street with a great selection of beers on tap but more impressed with their bourbon selection. Mellow Corn for the win! Service was fast and friendly we got there late so they had run out of a lot of items but the pulled pork was great! Lots of seating inside and heaters and fire pits outside made it nice. We will be back again!”

“We stayed at Inn Marin twice. Each stay was for one night with a few days in between when we went camping at Point Reyes National Seashore, which is about 40 minutes away. My friends and I loved this hotel. The staff were so helpful and kind. The lobby had really nice cozy Christmas decorations, the courtyard was charming, and the room was clean. The free breakfast, although there was no hot breakfast, had bagels, muffins, cereal, juice, milk, and lots of spreads. There was Netflix on the TV and fast wifi. The only downside was the small bathroom did not have a towel bar, which was inconvenient. Free parking was right outside the room. The price was very good for the excellent quality of this hotel.”

“Great hotel, great service, beautiful accommodations, bed was too soft for my taste and I had difficulty with the temperature control, but it could've just been me or my room. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel.”

“It's a work stay. The room is older but clean. The Bonvoy App doesn't say it has a microwave but it does and a mini fridge. Far from the lobby tho not fun if you have heavy luggage. The location is good for my work. There's a shopping center walking distance 1/2 a block away.”
