“I can’t say enough good things about David’s Autoworks & Auto Body.

My car was stolen and later recovered, then towed near David’s shop. When I got it back, it wasn’t running due to a damaged ignition cylinder. I called David during a holiday while the shop was closed, and he still answered the phone. He told me to push the car in front of his shop and drop off the keys.

The next day he called and explained that the ignition cylinder needed to be rekeyed by a locksmith. I picked up the car the following day and was charged exactly what the locksmith charged him—$550. David didn’t add a single dollar for his own labor or time. When I offered to pay him for coordinating everything, he refused.

As I was leaving, he noticed one of my tail lights was out and had his guy replace it on the spot. Again, he refused payment.

This level of honesty, kindness, and integrity is rare. David genuinely cares about helping people, especially in stressful situations. If you’re looking for an auto shop you can truly trust, this is it.”

“Recommended to me by Lucio at Wardell’s Interiors, another solid shop. True old school craftsmanship and service. You can tell he’s been doing it for 50 years! I stopped by after picking my son’s ‘55 Chevy Cameo up from Wardell’s, just to get an estimate. He tells me to drive it up on the lift. Raises the truck, cuts off the funky temporary side pipes that were running off my 6 cylinder dual Fenton headers, grabs a couple of long s/s tubing pipes along with a tape measure and goes to work. He made multiple compound angle bends in different planes just by eyeballing it. The two sets of pipes paralleled each other perfectly. True craftsmanship and a really nice person. Had it done in about forty minutes including the chrome tips. I had no clue how to run the pipes back to avoid the Cameo spare tire tub that goes under the truck, so I said do whatever you think works best. When it was finished, he thanked me for allowing him to work on my son’s truck and let me know he had a 57 Chevy truck when he was my boy’s age. He looked at his work, laughed, and said he didn’t know what to charge me. I said whatever you think is fair, it’s a great job. Total? A few hundred bucks. Design, demo/disposal of old materials, new stainless pipes, new chrome tips, hangers and multiple bends and welds with highly skilled craftsmanship along with excellent service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“I really love Acura Honda Connection - my partner & I used to take our old blue Honda Fit here. These guys are knowledgeable, kind, honest, and friendly - and if you're clueless about cars like me, they'll give you solid advice so you don't get over-charged. And they're so professional, they educate you without talking down to you or making you feel stupid. They even provided a loaner car for us when they worked on our bumper last year!

The only thing is... I'm very sad they don't do body work anymore!!! I took my Civic today for help on my front bumper spoiler lip, and was devastated to hear the news that they've transitioned out of that line of work in the last couple months to focus solely on auto repair/tune ups/maintenance/brakes/muffler/exhaust stuff like that. I completely understand why - working with insurance companies and parts acquisition and limited space in the shop can create an unruly beast for the owners to wrestle with. I respect that - the owners should do what's best for the shop and the team after all.

I also appreciate the guys taking time to chat with me and assess my issue anyway to give me some advice on what to do next. Like I said, the team here always does their best to equip you with knowledge to get your car in tip-top shape. Joey pointed me to a guy he trusts to do good work, levelled with me about price, and then before I left he even got on the ground and cut off the lingering, shredded remnants of my spoiler-lip so it stopped scraping against my wheels and getting caught in the wheel well. That small act enables me to actually drive my car around for a day while I find a new body shop! He didn't need to do that, but he did out of the kindness of his heart, and that's the kind of thoughtfulness I'm looking for in an auto shop - people who give you peace of mind and get you to keep moving through a stressful situation.

How could I ever find that level of trust and attention to detail in another shop!? Anyway, thanks for all the great advice and work the past couple years, guys.

“If you’re looking for an enthusiast owned shop that is OCD about alignments, this place is it. I was trying to avoid a situation with a national retail shop that look at default settings in their system and align without questioning why or what the customer would like to achieve.

I have a Tesla Model Y Performance with Mountain Pass Performance (MPP) comfort coilovers and rear camber arms. I looked all over the South Bay for an alignment shop that knows Teslas well and found the right shop. They will walk you through what you’re looking to achieve (in this case for my rear wheels, they recommended less than -1 degree camber for daily driving) vs. the insane -3 degree I had before / good go track, pointless for my everyday highway driver to the office and back. OCD about details like setting tire pressures up correctly, not blindly following shop manuals, and a test drive to make sure all is in spec before delivering back the car.

Owner Will is very responsive and being a car guy won’t give you the run around but knows his stuff with his technician and co-founder. From setting up race spec Teslas to doing a basic daily driver friendly alignment (what I needed to stop chewing through my rear tires) this shop has you covered. I even got my date wrong and instead of turning me away, got me in at the end of the day as I was already on my way. Pricing was very fair and will take my BMW M3 and Ferrari 360 in the future to the same shop. 5 star experienced can’t recommend enough.”
