“We found our pet care center! Our dog came here after age 6, the attention to detail and care is striking. We came here for dental procedure and it was very well done. Very helpful with coordinating with insurance. He is very healthy and recovered quickly.”

“Honestly, I have taken my dogs to multiple veterinary clinics in the San Jose area, but none have compared to Oak Grove. All of the staff are incredibly kind-hearted, genuine, and super caring of the animals that they are working with. I've never had a bad experience out of the countless times that I have taken my dogs Luna and Dana. Dr. Brar is an amazing veterinarian as well, and I admire the fact that he always says things as they are. We took Luna in the first time due to her having stomach problems, and Dr. Brar let us start with simple things first before going into more costly procedures (as Luna was still having issues after being put on medication). The prices are incredibly reasonable in comparison to the other vets I've taken my pets to, as many will try to take your eye out over something as small as a physical exam or an ear cleaning. Overall, my experiences with Oak Grove Veterinary Hospital have always been super positive! I am very certain that I will not be switching vets anytime soon.”

“Rescued guinea pigs and took them for a wellness check before rehoming. Vet and her staff so caring and overall a good experience. Had to pay in full upfront weeks prior to visit; that generally puts me off a place although I do understand why they do it.”

“I have been coming to Camden Pet Hospital for many years and was always happy with Dr Hodge Sr and Jr. I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about seeing anyone new but within a few moments my worries were swept away. Dr Janjusevic is absolutely incredible and the support staff here is amazing as well. If I could give 10 stars I would!”

“This is for the San Jose location. Great friendly supportive staff. It's not "affordable" care, it costs the same as any other vet. 50$- Exam fee, 130$ for each X-ray view ( depending on the condition of your pet they might need multiple views), 130$ for blood work, 15-30$ for med( Depends on their needs.) There was no up-selling, only suggestions, gave you the opportunity to decline before you pay. I would have given it 5 stars but, I don't think it was very affordable as advertised but, due to inflation it's expected. Sadly, that's how it is everywhere. Do expect great care and compassion for your pet. You will be seen at least by two to three techs before the doctor and no, you don't wait an hour for a private room. Yes, bring your pets on leashes, Carrier, etc, Because it's cats and dogs in the same room.”

“Dr J and the receptionist were very kind and professional. They did blood work and within hours Dr J called me with the results. My dog is 16, I have a list of vets I've taken her to in her long life. Curtner pet clinic is a better choice in my opinion.”

“The team at Silver Creek were very thoughtful and sincere. Missy showed great customer service at the front desk answering all our questions and getting us set up for our visit. Dr. Choi was lovely as ever with her great expertise and caring nature. I missed the name of the technician for Diesel’s appointment but she showed Diesel so much love to help ease him through the appointment, which is not easy with a 100lb dog. I’m so grateful he was in their wonderful hands.”

All the informations from the visit beginning to end were thoroughly explained and we left there happy. “Princeton Veterinary Clinic is the best. I can't say enough about this place and everyone deserves 5 stars and above. Dr. Nily Keramat is so awesome and so is the whole staff from the front to the back. My parents use to take their dog there years ago and now that I and my daughter have a new dog (Missy) this is the place to take your animal. The whole team goes above and beyond to take care of your animal and you as well to always feel at ease!”

“This animal hospital is the way underrated. Five Stars are truly not enough. Look no further this team of highly experienced individuals are the best of the best.. All around great people I was in an out faster then you could imagine with absolute compterability. It has been a night mare searching for a dependable emergency vet. Called over a dozen different location in the bay area and I couldn't believe how under trained and unproffesional most locations really are. It's pretty bad when you can tell there only there for a check over the phone and being hung up on due to a stupid question. Or placed on hold with our ever getting through or a recording that repeats with no options. If you have ever searched for a vet you know exactly what I mean. Thank God I was refferd to Dr. Grewal and his well trained crew. I couldn't believe how fast the visit went. I was in and out in less than a hour with all questions answered a treatment plan and medications, and my dog was extremly close to death very larthargic from a serve case of parvo. She was too weak to even walk and with in hours after my visit she was by the door wanting to be walked. The whole team is highly educated professionals who work together as a elite team. Dr. Grewals leadership and delegation skills really reflect though his hard working caring polite employees I left there felling like I was just welcomed into the family the true animal lovers these guys thank you Carie and the rest of the crew all you guys are equally amazing. Allie girl is going great and my life is back on track. Thank you”

“I had the pleasure of visiting Acacia with my dog Louie and I must say that the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who showed genuine care and compassion for our furry friends.

The veterinarian we saw was not only highly knowledgeable and skilled but also displayed a deep love for animals. They took the time to thoroughly examine my pet, explain the diagnosis in detail, and discuss the treatment options available. I felt reassured and confident in their expertise every step of the way.

The clinic itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which further added to the overall positive experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both my pet and I were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit.

I left Acacia pet clinic feeling grateful for the exceptional care and attention my pet received. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly cares about the well-being of animals. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and commitment to providing top-notch care to my loved one.

Also this under new management now ! From

“I went to Petco first to get my kitten Roxy’s first vaccines. They told me they could not see the kitten because it was sick and would pass shortly, I left confused and a bit upset. I was literally there 10 min. It was the strangest 10 min ever in animal care. The kitten was doing great, eating, playing, she just had watery eyes and was a bit congested. Instead of breaking the news to my kids, I made an appointment online with Banfield. At this point I just wanted the kitten to be okay, and was ready for another demeaning encounter. Expecting the worse, I arrived. The receptionist was very welcoming, and made me feel right at home. (I do not remember her name, which is a disservice, her customer service was excellent.) Roxy was taken in to be examined. Then Dr. Noah David Salzman came out, and he gave me the news that: Roxy was okay! He went over Roxy’s plan in depth, he took time to give me crucial information, listened to concerns; it was a pleasant and warming experience. Last, he gave me his diagnosis, and prescribed Roxy eye rub. Within two days, Roxy eyes were back to normal! and has been great since. I went from a nightmare to excellent service! Every staff
member I encountered here were genuinely nice and caring people.”

“The professionalism of Gabby, Mary, Dr Hwang, and the entire team is to be applauded.
They made my visit so much less stressful by letting me know exactly what was to be done to my 7 lbs Yorkie, Marley!

The checkout was flawless even after I made a wrong choice for payment and had it resolved.

I was made comfortable with the after care that I would be providing to my dog with antibiotics and pain control medication regiment providing adequate amount of dispensers and explaining the different dosages storage and when to give.
When I called to report that one of the medication was not going well they provided a very supportive response and involved the doctor to provide alternative solutions.

Great place to take your pet for her medical care!

Kudos to Banfield Almaden Expressway, San Jose!”

“We got our Benji when he was just a year old—he’s a small rescue, and such a big part of our lives. Being in the dental field myself, I know how important dental hygiene is, even for pets, and I also know how nerve-wracking anesthesia can be.

As an anxious dog mom, I’ve always felt so reassured by Dr. Zacher, Ellen, and Adam. They’ve been amazing at keeping us in the loop—letting us know when Benji is next in line for his procedure, how everything’s going, and just making sure we never feel in the dark. That level of communication has meant so much to me.

We’ve been coming here for about four years now, ever since our vet in Oakland recommended them. And yes—we wake up at 6 a.m. just to make it to San Jose by 7, and it’s totally worth it. The care, the kindness, and the trust we feel here keep us coming back.

Even though our insurance no longer covers Benji’s prophies, we’ll continue bringing him here as long as they’re here—and as long as Benji is with us. He deserves the best, and this team has given him just
that”

“Update: after discussion and communication with management, I am satisfied with how my experience was handled.

I will preface this by saying that I’m sure the doctors and technicians here have adequate medical knowledge and would not do anything that jeopardizes the health of the animal. However, over the past three months, I have experienced worsening communication and disingenuous business practices that has left me wary of their customer service.

I actually had a good experience the first few times I came to this location, but during a follow up for my cat’s fracture, there was a miscommunication where the doctor ordered an x ray and interpretation that left me with a $600+ bill that I was not given an estimate for. I did pay the full amount. While I verbally approved of the procedure, I felt mislead by the omission in price.
I discussed the situation to the manager and she gracious offered me a $200 future discount on my cat’s next set of x-rays. I accepted and thought that was extremely kind. The manager explained that the credit was reflected in my account and I left.
In the following appointments, I asked about the results of the radiology interpretation, only to find out (only after asking three separate staff members, who all initially gave differing answers as to if it was available) that it was cancelled and never performed. At no point during the credit process did the manager or doctor tell me they were cancelling this procedure.
This was a line item that cost almost $150, which I paid for in full. The “future discount” the manager claimed to be giving me was just the cost of the procedure and a separate ~$50 courtesy discount. In essence, I prepaid over a hundred dollars, under the guise that I was graciously getting compensation from the manager.
I have no qualms with actually paying for what I receive. I believe the appropriate response would have been to fully reverse the original transaction (of the x ray and interpretation) and charge a new transaction for just the xray which already occurred and must be paid for. Alternatively, if it is impossible for VCA to refund a transaction, the staff at this location could’ve just been more honest with me that they could only offer a refund via “store credit.”

By claiming I was getting a courtesy discount, this location misled me and I now find it difficult to trust the staff and doctors at this VCA. I now have very little faith in this location to be honest and communicative with me.

If you choose to bring your pet to this location, I recommend always asking exactly what they will be charging you for, the purpose of each procedure, and getting a clear understanding of when those results will be communicated to you. My recent experience is that they will not be proactive and helpful when communicating and are more than happy to take your money without educating you about what they actually do for your pet.”

“Huge shoutout to Rosie for helping my dad get his cat food today! We've been taking the kitty for a few years now and part of why we wouldn't switch is because of Rosie and Corrina, two of the best techs I've seen and the vet Dr.Bath is awesome! If your looking for a vet definitely give them a call!”

“My family has been coming to Boulevard Pet Hospital for years. I am glad to see a lot of the same staff still here and still so compassionate for pet care. I even was out of state and even though my vet was great, they did not compare to Boulevard Pet Hospital. Not many businesses are still running like this. If I could give more than 5 stars for their service I would.”

“This place is AMAZING. . . . . even during this Covid-19 Pandemic! My poor Chihuahua (Frankie) ripped his chest open on a screw that was sticking up and needed surgery right away. I pulled up at Alum Rock Animal Hospital hysterical. And even with a long line of other pets outside (none of whom were emergencies), they immediately rushed him inside and THANK GOD saved him. They have done an EXCELLENT job following up to make sure he finished his antibiotics, came back for a tube removal and got his stitches out.”

“San Jose Animal Hospital has been absolutely incredible in taking care of my cat Bella over the years. From routine check-ups to more serious visits, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure she was healthy and comfortable. The entire staff is warm, professional, and truly cares about the well-being of their furry patients. When Bella became ill, their compassionate approach and expertise made a world of difference during a tough time. I can’t recommend them enough—if you’re looking for a team that treats your pet like family, this is the place to go!”

“I would recommend this clinic 100% !! I was desperately in need of a vet clinic for my English Bulldog due to some stomach issues. I called and the receptionist was so sweet to get me in same day. (It was for a drop off but I was totally fine with that because I knew my puppy needed the care asap) Once we arrived we were welcomed by some really sweet girls showing so much love to my baby. He didn't even care about me leaving him there lol he just walked on back there like he owned that place. Then I was called with the treatment plan by the doctor who explained everything so throughly and made me feel more at peace. We are now on meds and on the road to recovery ‍ thanks to Piedmont Hills Animal Hospital! They have now gained a new pet at their clinic! (Our previous vet we had been to only once and was not a fan- it was very outdated & dirty with blood stains on the lobby floor) and this hospital was sooo clean & modern!”

“Thank You Camden Pet Hospital for saving my Fuzzy Son Toby Cat. I can't express how much I appreciate Dr J. deciding to say that Toby is too young and before his major health issues too healthy for him to be put down. Tuesday, Jan 30 was the start of Toby's recovery and I owe my gratitude and thanks to Dr J and the staff at Camden Pet Hospital. When I woke up on that Tuesday I saw that Toby was even more sick than the prior days and I called Camden Pet Hospital to make an appointment for them to see him. I thought this was to end his life, that I would have to have him euthanized. I didn't think that CHP could save Toby for an amount of money that I could afford. To my wonderful surprise when I met Dr. J and told her the situation, fairly quickly she said that Toby is too young and healthy to be put down. She came up with a treatment plan that I could afford, around $650 that would basically follow what the other vet companies said they would do, treat Toby for 3 days, for a much higher cost, over $3000. The only difference was that I would take Toby home each day at 5 PM and then return him the next day for additional treatment to cure his urinary blockage. As with the prior 2 days, they continued with his treatments until I came at 5 PM Thursday to pick Toby up at the end of his care at CPH, and bring him home. Dr J. said that his urinary blockage had been cleared and the problem with his liver was fixed. All we could do now was to keep an eye on him. Try to get him to continue to eat and drink water. They gave me some special cat food, both dry and wet food for him to eat. This food was a urinary care type of cat food, Hills Urinary Care cat food. All during the time of his illness, I was praying to GOD to help save my Fuzzy Son Toby. I was so afraid I was going to lose him and it was very difficult to hold it together. I was a mess. That night Toby slept with me as he always does and I had the strong belief that he was going to eventually fully recover. From the time I brought Toby home from CHP, he slowly and steadily regained his health. Each day, his recovery progressed. He started eating his cat food and drinking water. It was not a lot at first, but each day he ate and drank more. Also, he started using his cat box. In fact, I set up a separate cat box, food and water dishes in my room as Dr J suggested. More major positive changes happened. He started walking around the house again. He wasn't just staying in my room. At the end of the first week back home, he wanted to go outside again. The things that really showed me that he was getting better is he started acting like my Fuzzy Son again. He was purring often again, playing with his sister Sophie cat, and looking at me like the old Toby Cat, full of LOVE and LIFE! It's now been about 1 1/2 months since the start of this journey and I'm so HAPPY to say that Toby has FULLY RECOVERED! Of course, none of this would have happened if not for Dr J at CPH. Her decision to help Toby, her treatment plan and the care that she and the CHP staff gave Toby is the major reason why he recovered and is healthy again. THANK YOU DR. J AND EVERYONE AT CAMDEN PET HOSPITAL FOR SAVING TOBY'S LIFE.”
