“The store experience in terms of finding what I neeed was great. And I will return there if I am in the area (I am not local). But the standout experience was the person running the store. I referenced an a sweater that I saw in the catalog. She knew what sweater I was talking about, shared that was not something she carried, but showed me other sweaters. Her knowledge of the stock was impressive. The most remarkable thing was her poise and customer service, she radiated a good mood and it was infectious. There were several other customers that came in while I was there and she greeted everyone with the same energy and enthusiasm.”
“Had to give my thanks to Store Manager, Jon Bryant, who helped me with sizing and exchanging to correct chelsea boots. I came in with the wrong size that I purchased on AE online on Friday evening, and Jon quickly measured my feet, explained what may be the issue(s), brought out two pairs to try out with one of a longer length and another of larger width, and process the exchange. I was in and out in less than 15 min. He was pleasant and knowledgeable expert to talk to too, which made the store visit a pleasure moment!”

When I walked in I was greeted at the door, I believe her name was Jocelyn she was so sweet and went back a few times to look for shoes for me. Anthony is a Rockstar! He went above and beyond with making sure I was also finding everything okay and even shared some history on the Vans company. He was so helpful and kind to me and every other customer in the store.

“I had a good experience in this Columbia Factory Store location. However, when I entered, I noticed that it may get quite busy during the rush hours, especially on the weekends. “High end luxury brand. Salvatore Ferragamo. The shop is in the San Francisco Outlet. There is a security staff that stands at the door to open and close it for customers. No snatch n grab on their watch.
The staff including security was terrific. Helpful. A staff member will approach you to offer assistance. I spoke with her and told her I was going to browse. No pressure. She was never too far away, the shop is not that large in physical size, so that was understandable. She was helpful without being intrusive. She provided great customer service.
I recall the women's shoe section was quite extensive. Gorgeous shoes in variety of styles and colors. Quality material, beautiful leather. But as I looked at the prices, they seem to be the same as retail. I checked later online and it was. This shop seems to be a retail shop vs outlet pricing. To add, there were no sales or specials. I did not buy anything. But before you do, check for the written return or exchange policy before you make a purchase. Make sure it is written on the receipt as well. From the other Yelp reviews, there seems to be an arbitrariness of the execution of the return/exchange policy.”

“We were looking for a pair of boots for my daughter's summer job for a construction company but that could be used for other purposes after this summer.
The service level from the sales person, his name is Andy and was there today, at the store was exceptional. He didn't bother us when first browsing and just asked once if we needed help. But given the wide selection of boots and that she was also willing to look at Men's shoes, we eventually asked for his help.
Andy looked at what she was interested in and disappeared into the back, emerging a few minutes later with four options that we had not seen or considered.
Here's why the experience was exceptional.
1 - low to no pressure sales approach
2 - was customer focused and looking for the best match in terms of our needs
3 - was knowledgeable both about the products in the store and in inventory as well as the systems (checkout was very seamless)
4 - he went above and beyond what he needed to do by letting us stay. Even though the store needed to close. He locked the doors so that other customers couldn't come in but told us not to rush and making the decision about which shoes to buy.”
“I'm someone who has never had a pair of jeans that I loved, but I've always wanted to have that perfect pair. I decided to give Madewell jeans a try because I'd heard they were cut well for different body types. (I have a small waist and bigger legs so I often have a waist gap or they are too tight in the thighs.) Jordan in the Walnut Creek location is so knowledgeable and patient and she helped me find the perfect pair of jeans for me. Not only do they fit great, but they are super soft and so comfortable. I tried on so many pairs and she helped me refine it down to the one that was perfect for me (the Perfect Vintage Wide Leg). Thanks Jordan!”

She brought us his size in about 4 or 5 different style sneakers. My husband settled on a pair of Jordans and 4 white thick T shirts. I paid under $150 plus we weren't in there but a hot minute”

“Absolutely love this place! Not only were the clothes cute, the customer service was awesome. They're very polite and are always ready to help. The store is quite big so there are many items to choose from. The only thing I would say wasn't very good was that the clothes were definitely not cheap. I bought a Santa Cruz sweatshirt for $39.99. Other than that, everything was perfect and to be honest, I think it was worth it. I will definitely go shop there next time. Would recommend this to anyone.”
