“Not a big fan of their produce quality and their hot foods aren’t bad (the caldo de res is pretty impressive, served on weekdays), but omg their flour tortillas are, hands down, the absolute best I have ever tasted! They make them hot and fresh in front of you. Don’t be deterred by the line. It goes quickly and is absolutely worth the wait. I almost cried when the tortilla maker broke down while I was in line one day. Got some from Appletree instead that day and was not impressed. My nephew in Santee is absolutely obsessed with PV tortillas and I have to bring a minimum of three bags per visit.”
“Fun shopping atmosphere. Great prices. Delicious food. It's probably my favorite store for groceries.
Parking lot can fill up depending on day and time you go.
Also, very helpful employees! If you don't know where something is, or if they still have it, just ask!!!
Additionally, there isn't much risk in buying something new. They will take back anything you don't like, or anything that may not be of the best quality when you open it (very rare this happens).

“A fabulous gourmet supermarket. They have a buffet of vegetables, stews, olives, soups... all exquisite. You serve yourself, you pay at the register and you can eat at the bar that is in the same supermarket or you can eat at the tables in the square. I recommend it to you.”
“It's pretty pricey now but you'll find almost everything you need concerning dinner and bakery. I do recommend not to keep the meat in the fridge for more than 3days...freeze the meat that you won't cook right away or on the day of purchase.”

“The staff greets you up on entering. They have a decent selection of items. And they're fresh. My favorites turned out to be their oranges, sweet apples and parfaits. But in all stores, the most popular or Delicious stuff goes quickly when they get alot of customers-which is understandable. But the shelves are never empty. The prices honestly are great and they happen to be in walking distance from my home. I only buy my fruit and veggies there, and been doing so for 4 months now.....”

“They have fantastic produce, last week plumb tomatoes were on sale for a dollar a pound. I bought 30 pounds. I made12 jars of spaghetti sauce. I was also able to purchase a dozen Ball canning jars with lids and rings.
7/15/24 they have some different choices of prepared pizza crust. Just choose your toppings. Shown here is our family recipes for white Pizza. Olive oil, Parmesan, mozzarella, oregano, your choice of toppings. PRO TIP: the edges make great dog biscuits!”

“Family owned business! Juan (the owner) is so nice and welcoming. They have an old school video rental program which is great and he also, provides printing services. You can even pick up a few essentials ie. Toilet paper, soap, soda,energy drinks and authentic Mexican candy. Go and support the small businesses in your community. Tell Juan I said hi!!”

“Busy AF any time but mostly weekends. The tamales are as good as my mom's for reals. Good variety of produce and meat. Bakery and kitchen close earlier so if you try to get a last minute bite, well good luck with that. Overall is a good Mexican oriented market but expect to spend sometime at checkout the lines are horrendous. No self checkout lines.”
