“I usually just run in to a Stater Bros and grab what my friends say is my mandatory Road Chicken. This time I did real shopping for my new diet, lots of vegetables. I had awesome choices. Since some of this was a new type of shopping experience for me it was very nice that the staff was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful helpful. I will still get the fried croad trips. Cookies for my many roadtrips.”
“Adamaris Lopez had great customer service at the WIC. She was attentive and patient and processed multiple transactions for me. Just wanted to leave a good review for her. Good Job ?”
“Other than the creepy guys outside in the parking lot, I like this store, they have pretty much everything, and all the employees are really nice, one day the guy that was retrieving the carts was nice enough to keep an eye on my bike for me while I went inside to grab something real quick, I had forgotten my bike lock that day.”
“Amazing market, has all my needs at a Greta price. Staff makes you feel at home and are ready to assist if you need help finding an item. The BEST local market within the area. I highly recommend”
“The people are very friendly and attentive... From the kitchen, bakery to the butcher shop, there are always people waiting for what you need or for any questions you have. Ample parking and well stocked!! 100% recommended”
“This is a great place to go shopping to get all your groceries. It is very economical and efficient, it is a very good place for cleaning and it is a place where they treat you very kindly.”
“This place is a hidden gem. It's never too crowded. It has everything you need. Produce, meats, drinks, alcohol including liquor. They have pan dulce. Best of all customer service is always great. Prices are actually not bad, it's actually cheaper than other same sized stores. I live about 3 miles away and will come here because stores around my area don't have everything i need and are more expensive. This store is great”
“Everything here is excellent except for the phone signal. MY GOD IS IT EXCRUCIATING. ZERO and I mean ZERO phone signal is inside this store. I have been shopping here for YEARS and I can never use my phone for a text call or web search about an item because the signal there is dead. To whom it may concern please work on us(your customers) being able to send a damn text inside your store.”

“Alex the owner is the nicest guy ever!! Great store, stocked with all types of drinks, snacks, and other necessities. 100% recommend this neighborhood corner store!!”
“(Translated by Google) Good well-stocked store and modest appreciation is very well located(Original)Buena tienda muy surtida y aprecio módico está muy bien hubicada”
“Good fresh produce department. I have found the green onions and fresh pineapple especially good. Good dairy department. Meat department is small but well stocked. There are one or two aisles with specials. I have found some very good items there at highly reduced prices. If you are accustomed to Aldi in Germany you will find this very similar. Americans should understand that the concept is very fair prices with minimal service. No butcher. Bag your own goods. Be prepared for occasional spot shortages. You can save money on the exact same products found at Vons or Ralph's. They do not have everything. That's just the way it is.”
“Now they have the best bolillos I know in a 15 mile radius. Take it from a Mexican, Mexican pan lover. At 44¢ per bolillo that is a good size, perfect crunchiness, plenty filled inside with both parts (inside and out) tasting good and soft. And they last a few days in good condition and you can reheat them without them hard or chewy.
I am not traveling 15 miles to Maywood for good bolillo since there's a Superior Market near me.”
“These always ask how I am doing their friendly cheer happy smiles make me feel comfortable and welcomed they are always very helpful and fresh food daily awesome market thanks they always make my day”

“El Toro Carneceria has been a staple in my life for as long as I can remember. I started coming here as a young child with my parents, and now, as an adult, it’s my go-to spot for high-quality meats and delicious ready-to-eat prepared foods. This place holds a special place in my heart, and it’s easy to see why it’s so beloved in the community.
The selection of meats here is outstanding. Whether you’re looking for perfectly marbled cuts of beef, tender chicken, or specialty items like chorizo and carnitas, El Toro Carneceria has it all. The quality is consistently top-notch, and the prices are reasonable for the value you get. It’s no wonder the place can get crowded at times—good things are worth waiting for!
In addition to the incredible meat selection, I love browsing their market section. They have a fantastic variety of groceries and authentic Mexican products, from spices and sauces to fresh produce and pantry staples. It’s a one-stop shop for anyone looking to recreate traditional Mexican flavors at home.
The ready-to-eat prepared foods are another highlight. Whether it’s their flavorful tamales, savory tacos, or fresh salsas, everything is made with care and tastes amazing. It’s perfect for those days when you want a quick, delicious meal without the hassle of cooking.
Despite the occasional crowds, the service is always efficient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. El Toro Carneceria has managed to maintain its charm and quality over the years, and I’m so grateful to have this gem in my neighborhood. If you haven’t visited yet, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t be disappointed!”
“This store is well stocked. And what I like the most is that it has an ATM machine to withdraw cash in case of an emergency. And the service charge seems Fair to me, compared to other establishments that charge you almost double. Customer service is very good.”

“(Translated by Google) It is a small store but it is very well stocked, it has a bit of everything and the prices are low, I highly recommend it(Original)Es una tienda pequeña pero está muy bien surtido tiene dé todo un poco y los precios son Bajos la recomiendo mucho”
“I shop there every couple months to buy bulk walnuts. Best quality and prices. They make Sprouts a Blue Diamonds stuff look pathetic. I buy other great stuff there as well. It's family run supplying food and equipment restaurants and other distributors as well as retail. Plenty of easy access parking in the back.”
“Everything was great. The market was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful finding the hamyca. The tamales were plentiful and tasty. Check out lines was minimal.”
“Best carne asada I've ever had. I've had asada from marinated from all kinds of places in Cali but this is hands down the best you will ever get. But it, try it and you will keep going back!”
“I often visit the store. There are many greens, fruit, and vegetables. There are products from Ukraine, Latvia, etc. post USS Republic: chocolate, farmer cheese, bread, buckwheat.... I can't buy all that I want. This store is in 2nd place after Costco.”
“Super!!!
You find everything.
I especially like to come here, for the cakes!!! Lots of variety in designs.
And the best thing for me, that you find individual sizes!!
Ideal to surprise someone with a cake, just as a cake should be, and not just with a slice. Round, spongy, the bread is tasty and the cake is pretty.
The only thing I would ask for and add is that they had 3 milks, even if they were cupcakes!
It would be great!!
And in general for the rest, this store is good.
I'll give it 4 stars, until I find cupcakes like the big ones, but with other fillings and 3 milks!!”

“I love B & L Market . When I want fresh produce, this is the place. When I'm looking for something kind of unusual, they typically have it.. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the stuff I keep walking past in my search to find it. I'm so happy they are in this area.”
“This was my first time visiting this supermarket, and overall, it gave me a very good impression. The products are neatly organized, the environment is clean and tidy, and everything looks well-managed. I especially want to praise the male employee at the left end of the dairy section. He was very friendly and helpful. When I asked him about the restroom, he responded with a very friendly attitude.
However, at checkout, I encountered a cashier named Ayline who was quite rude. I was standing in line behind another customer. Since there was no one next to us and I didn’t want to block the walkway, I stood slightly to the side. I honestly don’t understand why she reacted so strangely.
I don’t wish for her to lose her job; I just hope she can improve her personal qualities and manners. Working in this supermarket is not the same as being at home — this is a public place, and employees should be mindful of their words and behavior. I really don’t want such a clean and well-run supermarket to lose points because of her attitude”
“Wow, can you fit any more stuff in this store? If you're tall, you won't be able to get through this store, they have pinatas right above you and they packed that store with it. I wouldn't buy produce here, it just didn't look great. But if you want to buy candy in bulk and for a cheap price then you should go here. It's a family business too. I didn't even know about this place until my friend went here.”
“I work at the warehouse right behind his shop and since they don't supply us with water we can go over to the store whenever to rehydrate. Without this store this close & priced so well I'd die! Plus the owner is righteous! I get my $1.25 Pepsi every day Mon thru Friday and if I lived nearby it'd be every day! He's a great guy in the community!”

“Went into the store today because I was going to Starbucks which is very convenient. I had to use the restroom ( first time using it here) well needless to say I was appalled it doesn’t reflect the cleanliness of your store. The odor graffiti etc being of age we can’t hold it so when we have to go we have to go, close them down for a good scrub down for sanitary reasons”
“Love this little store it has everything you need. They got fresh homemade food that you can buy. I actually think the mom cooks the food so you’re getting home-cooked mom food, which you can’t beat anywhere. The prices are excellent. They always have tamales which they hook up in a special way, they have Carne Asada burritos And Carne con chili I just love this little store yeah there’s some homeless that Hangaround but they don’t bother nobody they’re harmless. They don’t ask for money or anything like that. They respect the store which is a good thing anyways if you’re in the area, you’re gonna like what you find the owners are so respectful and they cater to your needs. They’re outgoing, respectful, and they show their appreciation for your business.”
“I was in the desperate need of items for my bagel shop. This trader joes was the closest one and I would get there right at closing. I called them and the manager said he would let me in right as I got there. Fantastic service and nice guy!”
