There are one or two aisles with specials. I have found some very good items there at highly reduced prices. If you are accustomed to Aldi in Germany you will find this very similar. Americans should understand that the concept is very fair prices with minimal service. No butcher. Bag your own goods. Be prepared for occasional spot shortages. You can save money on the exact same products found at Vons or Ralph's. They do not have everything. That's just the way it is.”

“Now they have the best bolillos I know in a 15 mile radius. Take it from a Mexican, Mexican pan lover. At 44¢ per bolillo that is a good size, perfect crunchiness, plenty filled inside with both parts (inside and out) tasting good and soft. And they last a few days in good condition and you can reheat them without them hard or chewy.
I am not traveling 15 miles to Maywood for good bolillo since there's a Superior Market near me.”

The lady behind the meat counter went out of her way to find me something that was soft and good for you. I really appreciated he going out of her way she found me a tuna salad that was perfect. Cold so it can help with and swelling and nutritional so my wife was happy. Thank you so much for being so supportive and understanding to guide me to a better choice.”
“I shop there every couple months to buy bulk walnuts. Best quality and prices. They make Sprouts a Blue Diamonds stuff look pathetic. I buy other great stuff there as well. It's family run supplying food and equipment restaurants and other distributors as well as retail. Plenty of easy access parking in the back.”

Ideal to surprise someone with a cake, just as a cake should be, and not just with a slice. Round, spongy, the bread is tasty and the cake is pretty.
The only thing I would ask for and add is that they had 3 milks, even if they were cupcakes!
