“This place is great. We tried to trick our daughter into thinking we were going here and it pretty much ruined our day at Disneyland. Telling my ex husband we are going to foodland on his birthday has become an annual tradition.”
“Old school co-op market/dining. Not a place for produce but nice selection of healthy food stuff. This is where I get some of my vegan items for the selection and the better pricing.”

“Love this place for gas and other quick needs like snacks or bathroom breaks! The staff is almost always friendly. Special kudos to the graveyard boys! It’s almost the cheapest gas in town, the bathroom is very clean and I really love their coffee! It’s a bit far to get back on the freeway if you’re headed northbound but extremely close if you’re headed southbound! Pretty much my go-to gas station ?”

“It's unfortunate that hydrogen fuel stations are so limited. My recent trip from San Diego to Northern California highlighted this issue. The only true zero-emission station I found on highway 101 was in Santa Barbara.
I arrived at the station around midnight and asked the attendant if I could take a short 30-minute nap before continuing my journey. He graciously agreed. Your station not only provides the rare fuel and is almost always available, but your staff also offers exceptional customer service. Thank you for your commitment to sustainability and your dedication to customer satisfaction.”
“Overall the staff are very nice and courteous. They could definitely stock more items. The pharmacy person, not sure if she was a pharmacist or a tech, sounded so nice to all her customers and very helpful. Buy what threw me was when all her customers were gone, she was in her cell phone talking a little loud about some very disturbing incidents that happened with either her child or relative. It was unnecessary and I feel if a person needs to have that type of conversation, then maybe go away from the counter so customers don’t hear it. The language was not pleasant and I found myself so distracted by it. This is just a suggestion that I have. Other than that, she was very professional and nice. But hearing her whole conversation was very distracting.”
“Great little market that carry all camping items you need but forgot at home. Price are reasonable. There was never a time we visited the store and did not find what we need for the weekend trip.Store is run by outside vendor, Rocky Mountain Recreation Company. Nearest full service supermarket is 20 miles away in Buellton. Not worth 2 hours of vacation time.Kids enjoy biking to the store by them selves buy ice cream/soda. Few time you will safe letting go to convenience store by themselves.”

“First time in Santa Barbara area and 7 eleven is always my to convenience store, so I must say this was an upscale very clean and friendly store! First time redeeming my rewards and the cashier helped me out and went out of her way to make my a fresh pizza! Many varieties of coffee and wide selection of snacks and drinks. Free easy access parking with handicap ramp.”
“Basic but convenient little store. They don't make 'em like this anymore. I know that Talevi's recently moved to the building next door from their prior location, but walking in is something of a time warp to a simpler era. It's very old school inside which I enjoy - but is kept very clean and organized. I've found Talevi's to have a good selection of booze, especially craft beer. I enjoy the beer area tucked away into a back corner of the shop. This place also has your standard snacks and merchandise as well, and I've never found their shelves to be empty or unorganized. The staff are all very friendly, especially the owner. Customer service at mom-n-pop convenience stores can be a hit or a miss, so it's rather refreshing to see that this place cares about the customer. It's reasons like this that make me want to come back here again.”
“The Waterfront Snack Shack is one of those places you may not give a lot of thought to, but this Gem of a Business is something Special!Richard and his wife Dolly own this Family run Boat Launch Institution. Now that Summer is Kicking off they've Enlisted the well paid help: their Grandsons Dash and Jack .Richard is a Korean War Veteran, as a fellow Veteran we are Kindered spirits. Spending time chatting I sometimes help deploy the Flags. The Snack Shack Hot Dog is World Famous with locals, Visitors, and Celebraties. Their pictures adorn the the walls throughout the building. Next time you're in the area stop by and say Hi, grab a drink, Snack, and maybe the Hot Dog! Take a seat at the picnic table and watch the World go by! Happy Summer Santa Barbara Ronnie S”

“Where else to buy smokes. Smoke and coffee where always my favorite when I frequented both Starbucks and 711 ages ago. Is seems like forever since I held AL in my arms as a child boy has he grown up. We read him story after story every night for his mid fifties while he struggled to fall asleep. One might say it left a lasting inpression on him. You just have to ask his friends so he can tell you about the most whimsical and sometimes but not always scary adventure. We all know! Merry Christmas AL and Co. And a happy new year!”
“#1 Gas station in all of Santa Barbara ? & I have no idea why people keep crying about the bathroom? It worked just fine when I was there but if it doesn't then no need to quit cry like a b***h and just accept the fact that it doesn't work ? a bunch of adults w teenager attitudes. Grow tf up! It's just a bathroom.”
“Needed a propane tank refilled and looked online for someone close to me. Found the mobile station and headed over there. The clerk at the counter was really helpful. She filled the tank with no issues and I was on my way in about 10 minutes. She was great and it only cost about $11 to fill it instead of exchanging at my original location. Will be back!!”

“Gas is always a good price compared to Chevron or Shell. No fee for using credit. Discount with car wash. Only problem is how small the station is. Only reason why a 4star rating.”

“The staff and pharmacist at this location are kind, helpful, and do their very best to make a trip to the pharmacy as painless as possible. Yes, there is sometimes a long wait to be helped, but the team is thorough and work so hard-they're doing their best and I appreciate each of them very much!”
“This 5-Star review is primarily because of one guy in the pharmacy: the pharmacist Suraj.I know it's a smaller store and that some folks have had less than stellar experiences from time to time, but the good tales should be told too.Suraj has worked so exceptionally hard to keep refilling a life-saving prescription that is incredibly difficult to keep in stock. Supply is lower than demand nationwide, and I've never had so much trouble and stress filling a monthly prescription before. So much so, that in spite of my love for all the great pharmacy folks at the Mesa Rite Aid, I finally had to move a couple prescriptions over to Suraj at CVS. He seems to be the only guy who can fill them, even though there have been delays. In talking to both of the pharmacists at Rite Aid (the awesome Negar) and CVS (Suraj), I learned that the system at CVS allows Suraj to do something Negar has told me she cannot. It allows him to look at the supply chain and see what's in the system. At least that's how I understood it. Apparently Rite Aid is unable to do that so you're left just waiting and wondering if I high demand prescription will ever get filled. ??♂️Suraj is warm on the phone, really works hard to get these low-supply prescriptions in before I run out (I'm "lucky" enough to have 2 that have national supply issues), and phones to update me when necessary. I wish I could praise him to his boss, but have still yet to find a way to do so.Especially since COVID, the work that pharmacists have to do has got to be at least 2 or 3 times more difficult than it was before. I just appreciate how hard he tries to make one customer happy and properly supplied with what the doctor ordered. I'm sure I'm not the only one he does that with.Thank you, Suraj.I hope someone calls your boss's attention to this and that he gives you a bonus or a RAISE! ??”

“The nicest employees. We are tourists and they gave us some great recommendations for santa barbara because the store was empty at the time. Really friendly and such a great experience.”
“Michael, just bring your bike into the store ?. Also, aura how is 7-Eleven supposed to do about homeless people. It sounds like you should report what you saw to the police since it's such a big deal. ?”
“Someone I know needed a ride to get a few things from drugstore. That person specifically wanted to go to this specific CVS downtown Santa Barbara although other drugstores were closer. Once inside I saw why- all the staff treated him warmly, like he was family and they were professional in providing services and getting him the medical supplies he needed and getting him the discounts he had. I was very impressed!”
“Beautiful and peaceful spot!
I had an amazing time here — the lake views are incredible, and the sunset was absolutely stunning. The weather was perfect, and it’s a great place for a relaxing BBQ with friends. Everything felt calm and refreshing, away from the city noise. Definitely one of my favorite places around Goleta! ???”
