“Great customer service at a very fair prices. I inherited a Control4 system from the previous owner of my place. I hated that system. Not just because it is archaic but more importantly, every little thing I need fix (tune) required me to call my dealer who charges an arm and a leg. One day, all my speakers died, so I called my dealer, and they wanted my first born. So I decided to venture out and I found Definition AV. 1st, their service call price is very reasonable. They diagnosed the problem (the Amp died) surgically, but what's great about them is that they asked a lot of questions to truly understand my use cases. They recommended me to switch half of my system to SONOs and leave my living room TV's 5.1 audio system alone since it was still working. My previous dealer would had never recommended that because SONOs is more DIY and they would not be able to charge as much service money. Before they left, they even tuned up my 5.1 system just because they found some misconfigurations on they way. It sounded WAY better. I got the quote, the price is very reasonable and they came out quickly and upgraded my system. Now, my system works way better and I can use my voice control (my main method of controlling everything else in the house) to activate any speakers or speaker groups. I'll be a returning customer!”

“Recently got my dash cam installed. 5/5 experience. Freddie was upfront and transparent about flat rate pricing. Also quick to respond on Yelp which is always super helpful. Setting up an appointment and getting the dashcam installed was quick and hassle free not to mention very reasonably priced. Would recommend!”

“I love this location. Most feel the parking is sketchy but you just need to be informed of where to park. There's a public parking space the next building over and you can park there 90 minutes free or meter street parking Miguel was a great assistant for my services”

“This place is genuinely hilarious or at least it's thieves are. Virtually every bathroom item is locked up however the Booze is ripe for the taking! I am amazed the thieves are not hitting up the booze!”

“I went to three different auto sound places to try to fix my Outback's B&O radio & screen. It had "delaminated" and a known issue among this particular head unit. The Subaru dealer wanted over $1400 to replace, if they could get a replacement. The other more known repair shops in Santa Monica also wanted to charge a lot with no guarantee of success. I went by the reviews of Yelp and Google and took it to Precision. They may not have the most "business like storefront", but everyone raves about them and now I know why. They took the time to locate the parts I needed rather than replace the unit. There were some hiccups along the way but every time I had a minor glitch they saw to it to fix it quickly. Very thankful to Sam and his crew for fixing what is effectively a factory defect and should have been recalled by Subaru. Fair and honest came up in the review summaries and I will certainly attest to that.”

“This place has become so overrun with people begging for money outside of the store. If you come early in the morning, they are really out there arguing and going at it and it feels like the apocalypse. I try to go here during daylight hours, as the police often come by, and sweep up the homeless, but they eventually come back. There was even one time when one of the store clerks had to lock himself inside of the store, to protect himself from a crazy man yelling with a stick outside. During the week in the weekday, this place is packed with high school students, so it is primarily best to go here in the afternoon/evening.They have all of the usual goodies that you want, but the downside is that the AC machine is not always working. The coffee is usually hot and ready for you. Unless you come early in the morning when they are getting it ready for the rush. The location is kind of unique in that it is in a strip mall that shares the property with four other businesses, so the parking can be kind of tight sometimes.The number one take away from this location is just to be aware of your surroundings and be careful when pulling out of the driveway.”

“Used activemenus to place an order. I am not from the LA area and wanted some snacks. I did not know where to go and saw activemenus online. It was great. Placed my order and it arrived sooner than I was told it would. A quick call from the delivery guy and I had the snacks I wanted. Would highly suggest giving them a try. I have not visited the actual store itself.”

“I called to see if they had the screen for my Galaxy S10 plus. They had it in stock. When I found out the cost I was in shock. I call a couple of other vendors to see what their cost was. Other vendors said it would be the same price, but they didn't have it in stock. I wanted to get my phone fixed so I took it to DropSmashFix. (AKA IPHONE REPAIR 1430 Santa Monica Blvd.) The on off button on my phone was missing, and the technician repaired that as well for no extra cost. Thank you DSF”
