Cathy Javier opened Seasons in 1985. Having met Buddy Helm in 1987, their combined interests and talents created a most unusual gift store featuring arts and artifacts from local and global artists and artisans. Buddy Helm’s history as a drummer includes touring with Tim Buckley, playing with Bo Diddley, Frank Zappa, Chuck Berry, the Allman Bros and Sting. Buddy holds private one-on-one sessions at Seasons. Since 1987, Cathy and Buddy have hosted Drum Workshops at Seasons. Recognizing a growing need for a safe space, these workshops have grown and branched into Healing Meditation Drumming, Drum Circles, and Private Drum Therapy Lessons
