Cathy Javier opened Seasons in 1985. Having met Buddy Helm in 1987, their combined interests and talents created a most unusual gift store featuring arts and artifacts from local and global artists and artisans.
Buddy Helm’s history as a drummer includes touring with Tim Buckley, playing with Bo Diddley, Frank Zappa, Chuck Berry, the Allman Bros and Sting. Buddy holds private one-on-one sessions at Seasons.
Since 1987, Cathy and Buddy have hosted Drum Workshops at Seasons. Recognizing a growing need for a safe space, these workshops have grown and branched into Healing Meditation Drumming, Drum Circles, and Private Drum Therapy Lessons
I'm really enjoying my lessons with Buddy, he is so talented and a wealth of information regarding the history of what he's teaching.

Buddy and Kathy are good people, I've had cool drumming sessions! And they're always quick to help! The stories buddy shares during drum sessions are really good! Thanks to both of you ! Ernesto
