“I had my things here for near 3 years, and it was the best experience. The surrounding area does have some homelessness, and it is a bit remote, but it is one of the most secure sites I've seen. Cameras everywhere, and you need a code for everything, alarms Very clean, never had to deal with vermin or bugs problem, units are spacious, accessible, and secure. Restrooms always clean, and you know that's a good marker. The rent was affordable initially, but it did get raised too much after a while, so I decided to go to a A-1 storage location closer to me.”

“My experience at the Thornton Way, San Jose facility has been great! Tony, the manager, is very vigilant and knows what is happening throughout the property. He keeps track of everything very well while at the same time being friendly and extremely helpful. He is a “hands on” facilitator and has the answers to any questions. Chris is very friendly, helpful and also constantly aware of what is going on at the site. Both Tony and Chris are busy each day taking good care of the property. Though renters are constantly coming and going throughout the day, I have yet to see any trash or debris at this facility. From entering the driveway off the street, to going through the gate and driving to my storage unit, everything is always clean an fresh looking! There is no indication to me that any rodents have invaded my storage unit. My unit is outside accessible and the door is always clean when I visit. The restroom is consistently very clean no matter what time of day.As a woman visiting my storage unit alone quite often, I have always felt safe at this facility. Although I know I can depend on Tony and Chris if there is ever a situation. That is an extremely important feeling for me to have!I observe Tony and Chris working together in the office and on the property; they make an excellent team! Extra Space, you are very fortunate to have these two gentlemen representing your company!”

“March 21, 2023Accommodating:A year ago I reserved a 5' x 10' thinking it was big enough to store my furniture and save $$. The day before the truck arrived, I went to check it out. I panicked... it was not large enough! In minutes, Laurie found a 7.5' x 10' which was a perfect fit and solved the problem.Customer Service:This past January I received a call from the office manager to warn me that my unit was not secured. She discovered it while checking each unit on both floors on her daily walks 3x a day. She also checks the front and back entrance door to ensure both are secure and locked properly.Convenient:I have been going to my unit 2-3x a week preparing for a move. I use their carts all the time to transport heavy items to my car. Parking inside the gated building is an added plus. The building is lit and lights are on in the hallways. The bathroom is always clean. I feel safe even when no one else is there.Having moved around this year, I discovered many ways to get to The Storage Spot. From Fremont I take 880 S to Lark Ave, to University to Farely. At night, I take Winchester to 85N to 101 to Dumbarton to Fremont (so quick)! From Almaden, it is easy to drive West on Blossom Hill Rd to University Ave to Farley.”
