“Beautiful event venue! We attended an outdoor wedding here and I was a bit worried because it was outdoors and not sure about the weather, etc but it was absolutely perfect. There were about 100 guests so it was someone intimate but this place did a great job with the deco, service, care for guests, making sure the bride and groom were well taken care of and overall a great wedding experience. “Beautiful place for parties, meetings & weddings. Loved the in-house caterer (Gunters) for my event of 150 people party. Gunther’s Caterers were so easy to work with & had a successful event because of them & the historic venue. I'll have another event again soon.”

“All I can say is.. WOW.This is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. My entire stay was lovely. The location felt like a retreat oasis with the creek running right next to the rooms. The bed and rooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of room for luggage and belongings.The hotel staff is lovely and it felt like such a lovely getaway for my boyfriend and I.Will definitely be recommending this place and returning soon!”

“The garden is well-maintained and clean. The ticket price is a little high given the size of the garden, but this is about as authentic as one could get, some might argue it's better than what you can find in SF Japan town. Please check the season or call ahead before you visit, don't come and then find out the season for cherry blossom has passed already.”
