“Our car had leaking water pipes under the supercharger. This repair was very labor intensive. JP European auto repair in Huntington Beach was very informative on the cost and repair. They were also $1000.00 cheaper than the dealer. Very friendly staff. The car was repaired in 1Day which was super important to our needs.

He and Milo went above and beyond to fix and tune it up, and Joey charged me less than other mechanics had quoted me. “Hello, I met Mr. Humberto, who's a mechanic, about two years ago. Humberto is very helpful. Whenever I feel the car doesn't feel right, I call him and he tells me to bring the car. If it is something simple, he will fix it on the spot. Humberto always calls me and lets me know what the problem is and the cost before fixing it. His prices are very reasonable.

I own a Jeep Wrangler JK and unfortunately I had the bad fortune of taking it to another shop that butchered my intake manifold threads, installed a non-OEM fuel injector, broke parts, etc. True nightmare of a wack job.
Tony, Mac, and their crew were as professional as it gets. Not only did they provide top customer service at every stage, but Mac and his crew were generous enough to explain and show me the aftermath the prior shop had done, clearly making an effort to be transparent on the investment I was about to make to fix the prior wacko service on my engine. Communication was 10/10.
If you want to play roulette with a mechanic go pick whichever 4-5 star auto shops out there (what I unknowingly did), but if you want reliability, expertise, and professionalism, Mac’s Automotive are your guys. Thank you Mac, Tony, and Crew, you guys rock.”

Clyde was the technician that worked on my car, he was very nice and showed me several things that were wrong while he fixed it. I am very happy with the service and will revisit them in the future.”
“Evan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We originally brought our 2500 Duramax in for a torque converter and flex plate replacement, but he discovered some bigger underlying issues. Instead of just piling on costs, he worked out a fair deal with us and made sure we could get everything handled properly. Thanks to him and the team, we’re now back on the road with a reliable vehicle and ready for our cross-country trip.
The turnaround time was impressively fast, especially considering the extra work involved. Communication was clear, and we always felt like we were in good hands.
One thing to note—the shop isn’t located in the best area, but don’t let that deter you. They take security seriously. The lot is kept locked and secure at all times, even during business hours. When you arrive, just pull up in front of the black gates, and someone will quickly come out to let you in.

“Let me start by saying I love HB Auto & AC. Since I no longer have Ron at VW Specialties, it took me a long time to finally find a mechanic I felt safe with, and HB Auto & AC is it. I did not care that I was having my VW towed from Riverside to HB, they're worth it. The first visit 08/2025 they addressed multiple issues, that the VW dealership quoted me an insane amount to repair, and they did it all for less than the cost of one of the repairs at the dealership. And they did a beautiful job. She ran beautifully, and when I had to have my car towed in for what I thought was the same problem the previous visit, and I figured it was under warranty she still was running beautifully... However it wasn't the same problem. They had to break the news to me that my engine was shot. The head gasket blew and there was oil everywhere. There was coolant in the oil, oil in the coolant, it was a mess. They got me a very good deal on a new engine but I opted to get a new car. They didn't rush or pressure me to get the car towed from their lot, and I didn't wait. Even with their kindness, and understanding they still have a business to run and that would have been unfair to them and selfish on my end to leave her there longer than I already had, but it's nice to know if I didn't have an option right away, they would have worked with me.
I can't say enough kind things about them.
I'm staying in the VW family, and when the time comes, I will be coming back to HB Auto & AC. Thank you for giving me peace of mind. Sorry for the novel but I felt you deserved to know. ❤😊”

“I took my F150 Lariat in. I had it towed from another mechanic shop. When I called, I talked to Edward. He didn't even ask me to come in. After a short conversation about the truck he immediately said that probably isn't the issue but let us get don't eyrs on it and get the diagnostic done and go from there. He immediately gave me a good feeling about taking my truck here. The first mechanic was unable to get my truck to start. He told me the entire electrical module on the truck needed to be rewired or replaced. Orozco's quickly diagnosed the problem and figured out the previous owners of the truck had hooked up some after market accessories and wired them incorrectly and if a certain fuse blew it also blew the main start run fuse. Instead of being dishonest and charging me thousands of dollars they fixed the wiring for me, changed the fuses and sent me home with no additional fees other than the diagnostic. Edward was fantastic to deal with. He was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. I can't praise him or the shop enough. I'm just glad that there are still honest shops out there. I would ?% recommend this place.”

“Great experience here! Arrived a bit before 6pm close and they were able to fit me in for an oil change. It turned out the last place I’d gone for fluids to be changed had left the cap off when they flushed the transmission fluid and the owner showed me where it had splashed all over that area under the hood. I was in a time crunch for my next appointment bc I thought I only needed a quick oil change, but he sent one of his guys to get a replacement cap, cleaned the fluid, topped it off, and added sealant to the new cap when he replaced it, and was done with all that and the oil change quickly enough that I was still on time for my next appointment. He also didn’t charge me for the transmission fluid top off or for sending his guy to get the new cap (of course charged me for the cap, as I’d expect, but it was inexpensive). All around, good experience and would go back!”
