“This post office single-handedly revived my faith in USPS. Or, rather, my faith that trips to the post office can be pleasant. The two fellows that seem to be there most often are so effusively friendly and helpful! To the point where one of them, I believe his name is Jackie, got me something green to wear on Saint Patrick's Day so I wouldn't get pinched. We've since moved and I genuinely miss having those nice moments when I'd run errands. To those who can frequent this post office, please take some time to appreciate it!”
“Thank you for a delightful experience. Professionals working together to make things happen. My trip was unrelated to the female blond mailing other items out. She followed us out of the post office. At this time, my pick ups include myself, accompanied by a short male Asian mixed guy smiling in the camera speaking a little Japanese with peppery hair. “I was dealing with a frustrating situation involving a missing parcel that had been stuck in transit with no updates for days. After getting nowhere online, I came into the branch hoping for some clarity—and that’s when I met Victor, the branch manager.
Victor was not only professional but genuinely helpful and patient. He took the time to listen, pulled up the tracking information, and made several calls on my behalf to locate the package. Thanks to his persistence and clear communication, we were able to track it down and get it moving again.

“Nelson Soto is a supervisor at North Hollywood Post Office, he is amazing.. He spoke like a true gentleman and went out on his own time to make sure my over night package was delivered..
I wish more post offices around the country had employees like Nelson. We need to have a way to tip people thru an app who go above & beyond the call of duty.”
“Came here bcz it was one of the few P.O.s open on a Saturday. The sweet & professional employee working the counter, Brandy, was the BEST. So repectful, zero attitude, and hard working.”
“Only 4 stars because of the long wait ( 1hr outside, about 2 inside just waiting) but know that I did not have an appointment. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful AND friendly! (Though tired, they're dealing with a lot).
1. Make sure your documents are COMPLETELY filled out BEFORE coming. If not I guess do it in line outside but bring a clipboard or something to write on. They do have a LIMITED supply of paper applications and they run out so that's why they recommend coming with your own.
2. Be prepared to wait. Bring water, headphones, a portable charger for your phone, a book, playing cards, whatever. You're gonna have to kill some time. There is AC inside and god bless them a fan (and it's hot) but there's an outside area with tables should you brave the heat (some of them have umbrellas so it's not too bad). One lady brought lunch with her. Queen.
3. Be prepared to STAND too. There aren't enough chairs. Wear comfortable shoes.
4. There are NO public bathrooms.
5. There are vending machines that are cash/coin only. Not sure if it's expensive but at least those are an option.
6. There was a fruit vendor near here and that fruit looked glorious in this heat so BRING CASH and support your local vendor.
All in all, my partners appointment only took him like 5 mins lol. Other people's seem to take way longer.”
“Was no line when I arrived, but in the 10 mins it took to address some envelopes, 3 people had snuck in behind me. Naturally, each customer had a complicated transaction, so it took about 15 mins to advance to the window. About 6 people had lined up behind me during my wait. Staff was friendly and efficient. Decent post office if you time it right!”
“This is my second time stopping by. The first one was not good at all. Probably it is because it's almost 5pm and they're closing soon. The male postal worker must be tired and he is not happy to answer inquiries. The second time, I came Friday afternoon. There was a line but it went fast. This lady named Sandra helped me to make the transaction easy. She explained to me in detail the differences regarding the amount of each mailing options. With that, it helped me a lot to decide. I agree with a fellow Yelper - Sandra has been a great. Recommended.”
“I stopped by this USPS office to drop of an Amazon return. I been to the plaza this USPS office is in so many times but never knew there was a USPS here. I found parking easily since this office is in a plaza with many parking spots. When I walked inside the post office, there was no one in line so I was able to walk up and hand my package since everything was paid for already. I got my receipt and left, it was a simple and easy process.”
“I came in with some assorted boxes and envelopes unsure about the exact postage to use, and Marisa was so patient and helpful. She gave the best advice to spend less money and even let me use some tape to seal up my box. I've been to many other LA post office branches and never left feeling happier than when I went in. Marisa is a treasure!”

“Wow this is the best USPS I’ve ever visited in the U.S. having lived in 6 cities across 3 states. Kim went above and beyond — initially proactively offering help when I seemed confused and quickly found a solution that fits all my needs. This will be my new go to place for all USPS needs!”
“The only thing wrong with this post office is chronic lack of staff. There was only one person working in the building when I was here two years ago, and it is still the case, despite long lines. I have found the staff to be polite and conscientious though they are under considerable stress. What is wrong with the US Postal Service? It is a lovely building, centrally located. Yes, there’s parking, but many users get there by bike or on foot. Lots of post boxes and I almost always see people picking up their mail. Plus there’s a mural! Please, USPS, provide the resources and a full staff so this facility can properly serve this lively community. And kudos to the staff that ARE there and serving the public in very difficult circumstances.”

“My most favorite USPS location in the Westwood/West LA area. Always greeted with a smile by the postal workers. Never a long line. I find the workers here patient in answering questions unlike their counterparts at the Exposition Blvd location who never fail to give me attitude like I am bothering them on vacation.”
“Last week, I found myself in a bit of a pickle when I realized I had forgotten to mail a birthday card to my grandma in Slovakia. The main post office was closed, and only Feve was working. It was almost closing time, and there were at least four people ahead of me trying to use the self-mailing machine. I asked Feve if they had any birthday cards for sale, but she informed me that they did not. However, she kindly pointed me to a nearby store where I could purchase one. She also mentioned that the self-mailing machine doesn’t accept postcards to Europe unless I already have a forever stamp. Her suggestion was to try the UPS store next door.
I followed her advice and bought a card, but when I got to the UPS Store, I was shocked to learn that it would cost over $300 to ship it, outrageous!
I returned to the post office, hoping for a small miracle as it was just about 4:58 PM or maybe even 5 PM. When I explained how much the UPS store wanted to ship the card. Without hesitation, Feve stepped in to help me. She unlocked the door to the main post office and got me the forever stamps. Thanks to her quick actions, I didn't fail, and made my 90-year-old grandma happy.
I am grateful for Feve’s kindness, as she could easily turn me away. Thank you.”

Postmasters on Riverside Dr is hands down my go-to for shipping. The two gentlemen there are always super helpful and really know the ins and outs—whether I’m shipping to family in New York or sending packages internationally.
I’m writing this review because they saved me big time. Today, FedEx wanted $180 per package (plus box fees) to ship two large boxes to Utah. I went to Postmasters instead and they got it down to $88.20 per package. Huge difference.
Honest, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. I won’t ship anywhere else.”
