“4 Marshall's, 5 days. Started my shopping adventure here. The best selection, easy parking. The checkout line here is always LONG even if folks are friendly. Harder to find someone on the floor to help. I found a sweater I loved that had three colors - but only 1 was in my size at that store. That led me to go later in the week to Carmel Mountain Plaza (the worst), and La Jolla Village Square and Mira Mesa, each of which I'll review separately!”

“As an Interior Designer I appreciate the amazing selection and value pricing of Home Goods, especially for clients on a modest budget. The store is well organized, nicely styled, and the selection of merchandise is both classic and on trend. Where else can you get quality lamps under $100, large scale rugs under $400, and beautiful bed linens (often Pottery Barn and RH dupes!) that don't cost more than your actual bed?! Shopping on the weekend means longer lines but they really do move pretty quickly. You can get great bang for your bucks at Home Goods!”

Associate explained to me that was the reason I could not find the return option in the app. She made the exception to refund the purchase I did not even asked for a refund, I was ready at that point to take the loss.”

“Four Marshalls, 5 days! After finding a sweater I loved at Marshalls Solana Beach - but only in my size in 1 of 3 colors - I visited three other Marshalls over the next few days in the hopes I'd luck out there. Carmel Mountain was the worst, little selection, they'd never seen the sweater (which is prominently featured right now at SB). Some things must be saved for certain stores. La Jolla Village Square had more of the sweater (an Anne Klein short-sleeved top) - but sadly, still not in my size in the color I needed. So I headed over to Marshall's Mira Mesa. The selection there was smaller than SB or LJVS... BUT it was extremely well-organized and there were friendly staff. The checkout line was the fastest! And I did find one sweater I liked that was different. AND they had sunglasses, which out of the other stores only SB had (& no sunglasses I liked). So I scored a cute $19.99 sweater for work; a cute pair of French Connection sunglasses for $9.99 - and then some Bad Girl Bang blue mascara (which I think is discontinued) for $9.99. So here: Selection 3.5 (not huge but some good stuff), Customer Service 5, Checkout 5! Glad to know this store is way better than Carmel Mountain Plaza - and it's certainly fast to shop in because it's not huge and stuff was laid out well.”

“This Five Below location is great except they've had the back part of the store blocked off for quite a while since November of 2022 since the store opened and the location is almost always out of stock of things and has the same item selection but other than that I really love Five Below you can find things under 5 dollars and upper and service her is great except they close the self checkouts and people have to assist you checking out which I don't understand why if it's self-checkout!”

“Truly random yet amazing find here at this Ross location, consider it is La Jolla, everything that couldn't be sold probably get here for their last resort, yep.First I have to criticize their displays on men and women fragrances, uh huh they got nothing, literally zero, I took pictures of both sides of the shelf, no more than 7 items on each side, really!Then I went to men shoes, all the best brand shoes located on the size 11 and up, I am size 8 or 9 at best, at least the place made up for Poway location, because what I was looking for yesterday in Poway I found them here; the place save me from going to Vans to get my pair of vanguard mountain mule, the last pair; also scored a very nice backpack and shirt at check out.They have a lot of travel luggages, the most Samsonite stocks I ever seen, crowding the electronic area, but they got nothing over there anyway, no phone accessories, just some charging cables, wireless earphones and that's it.”

“I always have a consistent shopping experience here. The store is clean and well-lit, with plenty of parking. The employees can be hit or miss, but generally friendly and willing to help. The check-out process could be a bit faster to be honest. I noticed several of the employees not only making conversation with the customers while checking them out, but actually stopping to pause and continue the conversation instead of working and talking at the same time. This is just a small issue of mine, as I was in a bit of a hurry this week and had expected to check out a little faster than I did (with only a few people in front of me and to either side). Decent selection of products for good prices, but not cheap quality where you feel like you're buying garbage. Items have always been top-notch; that's why I keep coming back here for a few cents more than traveling to Walmart in the next town over.”
“Everything you need for "home goods" is generally here. Wide selection of unique items. Excellent prices overall. Usually every busy so plan ahead and try to get avoid weekends and especially holiday periods. Checkout lines can be long, but they have many checkout stations which helps greatly. Parking can be difficult, so I park in the general open lot and walk back to the store. Recommend.”
