“I’ve been a customer here for maybe 20 years. When my kids were teenagers I was a frequent customer. They are grown now and I’ve had less need of Tim’s services but I had occasion to take vehicles in 3 times in the last couple of months. All 3 times while inspecting the problems to give an estimate Tim fixed the issue and sent me on my way.Service, integrity, and just plain decency at this business are like nothing I’ve seen before. Or at least not for many years.A real local treasure of a business.I’ll never go anywhere else and neither should you.Service: Body & Trim”

“For those who are mechanically-inclined, have you ever done your own brakes and in doing so changed out the hoses, hardware, clean, and resurface rotors if needed? Then after a job well done (takes us normals a day job on this), you start up your engine and press down on the brake pedal for the first time and it feels like a plush cloud? That is called TLC and that is what it's like when Gary takes your truck in and hands it back to you. There's a reason why people with Cruisers and beyond call Gary and co. from out-of-state for setups, lifts, and repairs. These guys are the real deal and I could tell this from the first conversation I had with Gary. There is no frills and only a complete dedication to doing your vehicle right by you. Few places (outside industries included) practice honor, integrity, and doing good for its own sake but Gary and the guys absolutely do.My experience was with my FJ that needed a lift adjustment after another shop made a few mishaps but given how much demand Gary has, you can see just how many 'Yota chassis and powertrain they know inside and out. If you want a go-to for life, look no further”

“I am the owner of a Ferrari 355 Spider convertible with a failed potentiometer, Ferrari part #64978300. This part is a poorly made part of a safety system designed to prevent thousands of dollars of convertible top damage and to prevent the top from taking off your head. This part is not available anywhere on this planet and if you are a 355 Spider owner, you might have have done many unsafe workarounds to defeat this system. I fought with Ferrari for years and even made an NHTSA complaint that is on file. After five years I was about to give up but someone, I can't remember who, told me about O.D.D. Parts in Sonoma California. I called Jim, the proprietor, or more aptly, the artist and he informed me he created a fix for this impossible to find part. As he is just one and a half hours north of me, I decided to visit him personally and enjoy a day in beautiful Sonoma County. Then came the pandemic and one and a half hours became one and a half years. I finally visited his amazing workshop that is literally in an artists enclave and saw many of the parts he has rebuilt, refurbished or fabricated for many classic and exotic cars including multi-million dollars cars shown in Concours de Elegances. To say I was impressed is inadequate as these parts were all re-engineered better than new. He fixed my potentiometer on the spot for an extremely reasonable price, even more so when I am aware I can't get this part anywhere on the planet at any cost. When he was done we were given a golf cart tour of the property and neighboring artists and what started out as a part repair became a delightful adventure. We also visited with Jim's protege, Matt, and it is comforting to know that the art of automotive part fabrication will be passed to another generation. I just finished installing the Ferrari part #64978300 into the seat and replaced the seat in the car and everything works perfectly and as it should. I could not be more pleased. While Jim does work fabricating parts for rare classic cars all over the world, not everybody lives in Northern California and will be as fortunate as I to visit his artist's workshop in beautiful Sonoma but if you have a broken potentiometer in your Ferrari 355 spider, he's just a shipment away. He put an end to my five year nightmare and maybe he can put an end to yours too. Be sure to check O.D.D. Parts out.”

“We had damage to three sides of our Tesla Model S. The car looks brand new even though it's ten years old! So satisfied with CarStar auto body.Services: Painting”

“I feel like going to the auto body shop is the last thing anybody really WANTS to do... so imagine my surprise when G&C made this the easiest experience possible! I was rear-ended on the way home from work a couple of weeks ago. The other driver was young and had another accident on his record, so his family asked to pay for the repairs rather than going through insurance. I was nervous, but I had the other driver's info, and decided to stop by G&C for a quote on the repair cost...From start to finish, Ryan and Ashley both made sure I was completely taken care of! They wrote a detailed quote that was incredibly reasonable, and they also helped me coordinate payment with the other party. The entire process was incredibly smooth and took less than two weeks from the time I first walked in the door. The repairs themselves took less than two days, even with some additional service that was not included on my quote, with zero additional charge! They even washed my car for me, and believe me, I had been putting it off for months... Seriously, these folks are the real deal! I could not ask for a better experience. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with repairs after an accident, and the staff at G&C made sure I was comfortable and informed the whole time. I cannot recommend them enough! P.S. I would include pictures of my new bumper, but I don't really want my license plate on Yelp. You'll just have to take my word for it - my car has never looked better from the back!”
