I am one of those Shiba Inu owners and if you've ever seen Shiba's on YouTube you know they're at their most dramatic when it comes time for a grooming. Every visit to the groomer is apparently an audition for the 'victim 14' part in the SAW movie franchise where an innocent puppy is being both physically and psychologically tortured. The horror! But Cassie pulled it off nicely! EarthWise is set up well and actually has a pneumatic riser for the aspiring horror movie actor. It is the most sophisticated nail trimming table I have ever seen. Cassie was able to keep Bodhi still from the backside and also at the front side. Some places only secure the dog around the neck which means that they could potentially hang themselves if they fight so hard that they go off the edge anyway! I was pleasantly surprised with Cassie's calm and expertise. By far my favorite groomer of all time. I'm so grateful to have found this team and that they were willing to take on my dramatic Shiba Inu challenge! Thanks again!!

I ask the wonderful young lady at the counter to get her nails trimmed and shortened as much as possible. And they did! Nice and short! Roxy can walk / run whenever she wants and is so happy! We also had a flight of New World mixed wines. I highly recommend this place when you're in the area. The wait time was not that long since we came during the off peak time. The small place is cute and quirky inside, the staff was very very nice, the food delicious, and we could park our truck and small trailer on the side of the building, perfect!

1001 Heavenly Village Way #25a, South Lake TahoeBase Camp! Aka, my BFs name for me (I'm the boss)... but for real, great atmosphere with live music and a fun vibe. The restaurant was busy but still felt organized. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
OMG! I'm a Chicafo girl and have standards standards... the pizza had a crisp crust with fresh toppings, and the ingredients tasted high quality. We also enjoyed the salad, too much fresh!
And as usual, we always love our server. Anna (todays matter de) was attentive without hovering. Drinks and food came out perfect timing, and they checked in at the right moments to make sure everything was good.
Fir true, the atmosphere really makes this place memorable. Between the location and the live music, and the quality of the food, it's easy to see why it's so popular.
The only thing I'd suggest is making the wait time a little clearer during busy hours 😬, but otherwise we had a great experience.
No matter what tho, we'll be back... I'd recommend Base Camp Pizza to friends visiting South Lake Tahoe and would definitely come back.
PS MUST!!! We always return for their spinach artichoke dip!

I would actually do anything for this burrito. This burrito is going to live rent free in my head for the rest of my life. This burrito is exactly what I’d imagine heaven being like. This burrito was blessed by the gluten free gods. If I had a death row meal it would be this burrito. Don’t get me started on the delicious cold brew.
