Got Dogs-pet sitting, dog walking
11415 Deerfield Drive Suite 8637, TruckeeWe were in a fix for a few days without a dog sitter. We found Got Dogs and they quickly made arrangements for the gap, to our relief. It was amazing how fast they were able to find a responsible, caring sitter.

9701 CA-267 Suite 100, Truckee10/10 They are an amazing vet hospital. I brought my little dog in because she was 17 and it was her time, she was very sick for a long time. It was a Friday and her normal vet was closed so I called them and they got her in same day no problem. They were extremely compassionate. The doctor and tech were just phenomenal people and as sad as it was for me to lose my child while seven months pregnant they made it a bit easier. The front office gal was great also. I recommend this hospital 100%. Thank you guys so so much!!!

Donner Truckee Veterinary Hospital
9701 CA-267, TruckeeWe credit Dr. Vannini with saving our dog Morgan’s life. We brought him in on a Monday after he had been throwing up and was completely lethargic over the weekend . After rulling out other potential causes of his sickness she determined he had IMHA , an aggressive autoimmune disease where his red blood cells get attacked by his own immune system. We said we’d head home to the Bay Area and get him to our vet there but she stressed very clearly that he likely needed a blood transfusion immediately or he might not make it. We took him to a Vet hospital in Reno that day and he had his transfusion almost immediately.
He’s now slowly being weened off of his meds and is back to being his own lovable self. Much thanks to Dr. Vaninni and her staff!

They were so welcoming and warm, especially with our toddler and pup (bonus points: our toddler’s food came within 10 min of ordering) Just as important their selection of beer and wine is top-tier. Highly recommend stopping by while you are in town.

I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich, and it definitely hit the spot! 🥐☕ The food was delicious, the service was good, and getting to watch the planes was an added bonus. ✈ I’m so glad I stopped here. Excellent food and service in a relaxed, informal setting. The ladies at the counter were friendly and helpful. We both had hot sandwiches which were meaty and substantial. This might be a mandatory stop when we travel though Truckee.

10061 S River St, TruckeeWe visited a few years ago, in 2018 and bought several bottles of Red Barn Red. Tonight 2/15/2025, I opened our last bottle. It held its color and flavor. We are really enjoying this lovely wine. I think it's time to visit Truckee, again. Cheers!
