I really appreciated the time and effort spent with my nervous little punk. I have great confidence having Timberline as our lifelong vet because of this experience.
**Update** we are in year 2 of my very worried dog visiting Timberline for her check ups and everyone is so kind and considerate with Penny and her Big Worries. They have found a way for us to get her in the door and able to have her check ups and I am so grateful for their care!

Quail Ridge Animal Hospital
937 Mica Dr #18, Carson City1st time at this clinic since moving to carson, first impression looked pretty clean, one of the receptionist not too welcoming or friendly, first tech very nice introduced herself and was good with the pups, second tech who did vaccines not friendly at all, just came in grabbed one pup at at time, the said we good to go. Dr Spears however, was incredibly nice, super welcoming, and interacted with our pups listened to our concerns. Overall good experience, with exception to long wait over 45 mins past our appointment, but more likely they were taking care of a more urgent care of another animal so understandable, so I am not complaining about that. I would have given 5 stars, but for the receptionist and 2nd tech.

2405 S Curry St, Carson CityI love Doggie Days. ? My Delta is TERRIFIED of men, she will hide behind me and not even look at them. But for some reason she loves the guys that run this place. I am so amazed that when I bring her in she is jumping all over them giving kisses. She doesn't even do that with my husband! ?. That speaks volumes to the care she gets when she is there.
I am also amazed that they know every dog's name. Even if I didn't visit for several months, when she comes in they know exactly who she is.

Cookie struggles around other dogs. Kendall and Chan have been endlessly patient with my pup, meeting her exactly where she is without any judgement. and honestly, they extended that same kindness and support to me as an owner, which i didn’t expect but really needed.
we’ve done both 1:1 sessions and group classes. and both experiences have been fantastic. the individual attention helped us build a real foundation, and the group setting gives Cookie the chance to practice in more dynamic environments. the progress has been genuinely remarkable, we went from being anxious around a STUFFED dog to being able to tolerate doggies in close proximity and walk next to them.
if you’re on the fence, just give Kendall and Chan a buzz and try it out. whether you have a tricky dog, feel overwhelmed as a new owner, want real support, or even if you think your dog behaves well “most of the time”, this is the place. there is so much to dog training you didn’t know that you didn’t know, which Kendall and Chan will break down for you into bite size chunks to really hone your doggie’s skills and your own skills as the handler.

Not to mention the good vibe atmosphere and the super friendly welcoming bartender. 5/5 stars, all day long! Amazing find, highly recommend!

Then it wasn't ok. The waitress said oh its because of the steak. NO, I've waitressed and there's no way a med rare steak is the reason. I think she forgot to turn in the order. Regardless it still is a good place to eat.

301 N Curry St, Carson CityFirst of all let me say Old World is my favorite coffee shop ever. Theres only one other that matched it and it’s closed now. So when I come back to the Reno area to visit its at the top of my list. I lived in Reno for 8 years and never had a negative experience until now. I usually go to the midtown Reno location and this was my first time trying the Carson location. My latte was $9.25 not including tax or tip!! An insane price to pay for coffee so it better be excellent. And this is what it looked like - just poured into a cup. I love Old World for their latte art, attention to detail and homemade syrups. I can find 1000 coffee shops with generic syrups and baristas who can’t do latte art. It seems like every coffee shop has switched to only to go cups and their coffee doesn’t even taste good. Old world was one of the only exceptions! Unfortunately it seems they’ve lost some of that and I hope they figure it out. All that to say I still love them and will be visiting the Reno location(s) on my visit with hopefully a better experience. I was just disappointed upon my reunion with one of my favorite places ever!

1280 North Curry Street, Carson CityI absolutely adore this bakery. The pastries are divine, the food is fresh and delicious, and the coffee is amazing! I have a few favorites, such as the classic Mocha, as well as the Strawberry Cream Cheese Crossaint, and the Wake Up Bagel. I also recently tried the Baklava, which is an incredible dessert. The Sourdough bread is also great and I pick it up regularly. My partner is partial to the classic Cinnamon Roll as well. Big shoutout to Kat, who makes you feel right at home when you walk in. She is a ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air, and makes incredible coffee. However, all the staff here are so kind and helpful and really add to the experience and atmosphere. I feel so lucky to have a place like this in my neighborhood and I plan on being a loyal customer for a long time. Thank you to all who make this place a joy to be in and make the most incredible food and drinks! We appreciate you!

549 Airport Rd, Carson CityEvery month I get free food for my cats and Dog. The shots are fairly priced too. I like that the animals get adopted quickly as well. Over all I highly recommend this place if you cannot afford food or supplies for your animal. Try to adopt here first to save these animals. You are doing a good deed.
