Firehouse Creamery
145 C St, Virginia CityI've visited countless ice cream shops, but this place offers the largest portions I've ever seen. Just take a look at the picture! I tried the blueberry, butter pecan, and espresso, and they were spectacular. I shared them with my friends, and they loved them too. Don't be shy--try a sample. The staff is super friendly, and if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back.

Firehouse Bar-B-Que
145 C St, Virginia CityWe went to the ice cream parlor (we didn't have lunch food). The gentleman working the ice cream shop was so nice!!! He was awesome. Friendly and helpful. Rare to find someone that seems to enjoy their job. The ice cream prices were reasonable and all the flavors we ordered were delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating that was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place!

Mark Twain Saloon
62 S C St, Virginia CityHad a great time here. The bartender heckled us to come in off the street and she was totally right. We ordered food from the snack bar next door and the woman running it was a dream. Seriously the sweetest person ever. Service was top notch and she made us feel like we were at home. Plus we got free fresh baked cookies with our order! Who doesn’t love that?!?!
After a long ride, we were craving a beer at the bar so we got the same person that heckled us in the first place. The bartender was super fun, made us feel very welcome, and had a great attitude (plus she’s pretty easy on the eyes too)! Word of caution: she might know more about trucks than you do.
Would give an extra star if I could!

10 out of 10 recommendation every one was respectful and polite. Once it was time to order I informed that I’m not sure on what to get I had never eaten here before. I informed her order me what she recommends with no price cap or allergies I have and she actually ended up turning around and had a platter waiting for me that they just finished taking pictures of!!
I was the first person to receive and try the new platter!! More than enough food! Looking forward to driving through Virginia City again just to stop by for a delicious meal.

Gold Hill Hotel and Crown Point Restaurant
1540 S Main St, Virginia CityI can’t say enough wonderful things about this gem! I will start with the lady at the front desk, Jett. She called just before we were to show up. She made sure our room was ready and allowed us to check in early since we were traveling from Northern California. She gave us a tour and made sure we had everything that we needed. this location is absolutely breathtaking. The town itself is really cool. The hotel offers so much charm and history. Our room was cozy and very clean. The price was fantastic for such an incredible place. We were able to pick our own room. We had a balcony with a phenomenal view. Unfortunately we were only in town for a night. I have no doubt in my mind we will be returning to the gold hill hotel. I did my research and previously heard about this hotel (we live in the state of Virginia) and I have been wanting to come here for so long. This was like dream stay for me. I fell in love with Virginia City. You won’t regret staying here if you love this kind of vibe!

The Delta Saloon and Casino
18 S C St, Virginia CityAtmosphere: A true Saloon! They have gambling machines inside, a bar to sit at, and a small stage for performances. They have these wonderful historic items (the suicide table and antique globe!) and the architecture of the building is magnificent! Lots of tables available.
Food: Went next door to the small dining area to order so we could watch the performance going on in the larger area. For 3 burgers, 1 sandwhich, 1 fry, 3 sodas, and a water we paid about $90 (including tip). A bit pricey but the size of the burgers definitely make up for it! We were able to share a basket of fries among 3 people! Food came out quick, tasted homemade, fries were thick.
