Our meals were outstanding, we ordered the fish, chicken, and pasta, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, making it easy to slow down and enjoy time together as a family. We especially appreciated how dog-friendly Spoon is. Our black lab was greeted with a smile and felt just as welcome as we did.
If you’re looking for delicious food, exceptional service, a relaxing patio, and a place where your four-legged family members are welcome too, Spoon is definitely worth a visit. We can’t wait to come back!

Our family of 18 had arranged ahead of time to have dinner here for my dad’s 80th birthday, but we were also hoping to surprise my dad with line dancing lessons after dinner as he’s always wanted to try it but hadn’t had the chance. Although TNBC has public line dancing events every 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings, we were only in town in between those times. They graciously worked with us to have their dance instructor Kendall available for us! She was super for our group and it was a dream come true for my dad. Very memorable. Thanks TNBC! Thanks Kendall!

2285 River Rd, Tahoe CityRiver Ranch restaurant is a destination spot. We travel over 300 miles every year from Northern California to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The setting overlooking the river is beautiful, the staff and service is always excellent and the food never disappoints.
We have dined here many times over the years including tonight. Thank you again for making it so special.
