“I have had such a great experience with this local post office. They have been so helpful when I have had packages that were misdirected, or need help with mail hold concerns. This morning I was trying to locate a package from a vendor for products I ordered but I had accidentally put the wrong zip code on the package. Amber spent about 25 minutes on the phone with me to try to help me with the issue. I had so many questions and she was very helpful in trying to answer all of them.”
“The staff here are so kind and friendly ❤ and very patient...They were very helpful when I was trying to send my Selective Service letter. They were also extremely patient when I came to fill out my passport application: I was late and filled out both pages incorrectly...so grateful the staff took their time with me ❤? thank you ?
Also glad the office finally got an AC! No idea how the workers were surviving in summer months before that ?”
“Before getting a PO Box I read reviews for Mtn. View, Sunnyvale, Cupertino and Los Altos. I've dealt with Mtn. View before. They're weird and they suck. Sunnyvale keeps tearing down their USPS places. Cupertino review was fair but Los Altos had the best review and when I went the lady couldn't have been nicer. She took care of business and I was out of there in 5 minutes.”
“The staff at the location are so patient and helpful. We went here after trying to get passport renewed at the Dusterberry Way location in vain. While the folks at Dusterberry had attitude and found every way to reject our renewal form, the folks at Newark patiently worked with the same form and got it done. Worth every mile of extra drive.”

“Jean was super helpful and very patient with me and my fiancé. She had informed us that our mailing box was incorrect. We were able to buy a new box and use our original shipping label. She was able to manually enter in a very trouble barcode into the system as well. Even though we came close to closing time. We didn’t feel rushed to hurry and exit. Jean is an amazing worker and goes all out for each and every customer. Thank you so much Jean!! You are greater appreciated for everything you do!!!”
“I had a great experience at the Woodside Post Office. Monique and Daisy were both super friendly, kind, and helpful. I had a question about shipping a package to Germany, and they took the time to walk me through the process and make sure everything was set up correctly.
What I really appreciated is that they accepted the discounted shipping level I was using — I’ve been to other post offices where they give you a hard time about that, but here, it was no problem at all.
The whole visit was easy, smooth, and just plain pleasant. It’s not often you leave a post office in a good mood, but this one honestly made my day. Thank you, Monique and Daisy — you’re the best!”
“Could you please explain why there’s currently only one staff member assisting customers at the post office? The line has grown to about 15 people, and it’s been this way for quite some time. Are there any plans to return to having two staff members at the counter to help with the demand?”

“Best post office ever! Over the years Jonathan and Jack have persevered through the CZU lightning fire complex evacuation of town, the Covid epidemic, and extensive remodeling, just to name a few of their challenges. Each was handled with ingenuity and excellence. They always came back stronger. Now the challenge is the holiday rush with hundreds of boxes arriving daily (700 in one day was a record high).
All this in a town with no home mail delivery so they can get pretty busy, which is an understatement!”

“I had a great experience at the USPS location thanks to Naina. I arrived close to closing time with an important piece of mail that needed to go out the same day, and she went out of her way to help me get everything processed quickly and correctly.
Despite it being the end of the day, she was patient, professional, and very kind. She made sure my mail was sent without any issues, which I truly appreciated given the urgency.

“Not that hard to find. You just have to park across the street in lot 6. Just look for the sign VA Hospital Station, United States Post Office. The woman inside was actually quite friendly!”

“Always friendly and helpful. I’m always amazed by how patient they are, even after explaining the same thing hundreds of times, with signs and written instructions everywhere, while customers still try to do things their own way (myself included ha ha)”
“Every time I’ve come to the post office, I’ve had a great experience! One employee, an Asian man whose name I wish I knew to give him a proper shoutout, has been manning the counter the last three times I’ve been there and he is very knowledgeable and good at his job! I was impressed each visit by his efficiency. It didn’t matter how long the line was - I never had to wait very long. He’s been able to answer any questions I have and has been very kind in addition to his efficiency.
I feel genuinely confused by all the low ratings of this post office as my experience has been quite different. Yes the parking is tricky and yes it’s unfortunate that there isn’t a letter drop available outside of the building, but I’ve had great service.”

“The bad reviews are justifiable, especially since the USPS website is not helpful at all. However, when you do know the correct pick-up hours, then there's not much to complain about. I had to pick up some mail because my address isn't fully validated or something, and it took under 5 minutes for them to find it all.
They should consider adding another timeslot, like on a weekend or maybe in the evening.”
“Anjana, USPS Passport Agent, was super kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Please note only a passport agent can process a passport or passport card application. If it a question pertains to any passport application arises, don't ask any clerk behind the counter. They'll defer your inquiry to the passport agent. I completed an original passport card application today. Additionally, you must sign your documents in front of the passport agent for verification and certification purposes. I highly suggest you make an appointment and arrive 10 mins early. When you arrive promptly purchase a money order for your US Department of State fees right off the bat, which are separate from USPS handling fees. US Department of State fees are paid with money orders only. And finally, the entire counter team there at the Delaware USPS station are absolutely wonderful. Very, very helpful, polite and courteous. They've got DMV beat by a mile. Happy New Year!”

“There is a mini post office at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center and this is the closest USPS. Plenty of parking on the street and there is a two-story parking right next door”

“This is one of two Post Offices in the area that I know of that has a Self-Service Kiosk AND where the lobby is open 24 hours - AMAZING ? LIFE SAVER! The other Post Office with 24-hour Kiosk access is in downtown Mountain View. SO GRATEFUL! I can never make it to the post office before they close - so I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 24-hr Self-Service Kiosk. You can buy postage, get Priority Mail packaging and mail it all on your own. We are so lucky to have this available to us and I hope they never decide to close the lobby. Thank you USPS. Big fan of this service!”
