“I’ve always loved Ace!!! They have coolest stuff in there besides hardware. Anyway I just called this Ace ( in Suisun) to inquire about a hard to find lightbulb replacement for the laundry room. The woman that answered and I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but she went above and beyond helping me find this replacement bulb. It turns out they have a couple bulbs no one else had. Her customer service was amazing and she sounded happy to help.
I just thought she deserved some recognition so I’m giving her and Ace 5 stars!”
“A worthy, old school hardware store. Lots of stuff on lots of shelves in lots of aisles! First timers are almost sure to get lost. Parking along front and side. Usually plenty of knowledgeable red vests about to ask for help. Great store in all respects!”

“I have had multiple dealings with all the HVAC industry vendors in the area & MY opinion is that JOHNSTONE SUPPLY in Concord, CA is, BY FAR, the best vendor in all the Bay Area. Sure, some parts are a little pricey... but, I am completely amazed their WILLINGNESS to help: Whether it's searching for OEM parts (for MOST models, Carrier, Goodman, Rheem, Lennox, Payne, Trane, Bryant and more...) or offering lower priced & comparable after market replacements; Whether it's delivering the parts to you, placing Will-Call orders for you at other locations, or, showing integrity by directing you to their competitor's store if they know that that vendor can help you out by getting the rare part which they may not be able to... “My 23 year old Onan Microquiet 4000 RV generator would not start. My fault for not using it enough so the gasoline gelled in the carburetor. I took it to Bill and luckily he was able to clear it out and get it running properly. He also reset the rpm to produce the correct 62Hz output. He was fair, honest, knowledgeable and quick.
