The nice attendant walked up during my transaction to kindly inform me that I need to check out at customer service next time I’m purchasing a gift card. I thanked her for the information and finished my transaction. I saw no posted instructions that I needed to do this at customer service. If that is indeed the case, might I suggest to management or to Lowe’s merchandising team to have instructions posted or remove gift cards completely from the self checkout registers. :)”
