“Nice bustling Trader Joe's. Everything seems to be fresh stocked. I often buy more than I go in for because there is a great selection of real food. You don't have to worry about trans fats and artificial anything here. Everything is all natural very good quality and decent prices.”

“The best place to go for fresh vegetables. Come in the morning when it isn't very busy. Make sure to eat quickly as some of the vegetables spoil quickly. Inexpensive. Once you tried this place you will avoid grocery stores' vegetable offerings.”

“Great prepared foods, nice people, excellent selection of specialty foods like Marianne Ice Cream and LaVilla raviolis.Update on 4/29/24 -First time visiting after a few years. They still have a great selection of cheese and local specialties like those La Villa ravs, ice cream, pies and more. Shoppers seem to enjoy the samples laid out from the deli department and many of their options are individually packed for convenience.”

“Safeway has always been my preferred place to shop and this location is an example why. Friendly people, wide selection(although some items are in weird places) and no lines at checkout.

Sadly, when you come during a time when the pharmacy is open, the place is chaotic and not at all like the above experience.”

“This is the best surprise I had searching for groceries nearby. The best price and quality produce of meat, fruits, vegetables and authentic Mexican food. So lucky to have discovered it and encouraging everyone to try who cares about real quality and not fake brand advertising.”

“Well stocked warehouse type store, with pretty much everything you need to run a household or a restaurant. Prices are about comparable to other warehouse stores, but checkout is quicker, and they have their share of eco-friendly products. For example, you can get a 48 roll cardboard case of bathroom tissue with no plastic packaging at all.”

“It's a grocery, produce and food corner with seasonal offerings of sugar cane juice, pani puris for diaspora from Indian sub continent, but being Bay area there are other ethnic population buying produce too. Reasonable prices and friendly staff extremely crowded on weekends and festival time. They also have a kitchen vegetarian food only with daily options and bulk catering order in advance.”

“I moved to Sunnyvale yesterday. First time at this Safeway and I Absoulutely loved it. The only thing that I was concerned about is the checker who checked me out could not understand what I was telling him. That was really frustrating.”

“If you're looking for a halal Middle Eastern grocery store, Baraka Halal Market is one of the top choices in the area. I regularly shop there for meat, chicken, vegetables, fruits, spices, and nuts, and I’ve always been impressed by the quality. Recently, they've expanded their selection to include a wider range of fresh fruits and vegetables. They even carry some unique items like dishes and Chinese, kettles and so on. Their prices are reasonable, and their nuts, especially the walnuts, are delicious. The fruits are consistently fresh and tasty. The store also features a butcher offering a variety of meats, along with different types of cheese and dairy products. The staff, Munir, Homayoon, and two Mohammeds are incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area!”

“I love the layout - produce next to dairy next to meat etc, so the things you commonly need are grouped near each other. Helpful staff, and great bakery/ deli area.”

“Clean well run local quick stop store. Most nights there is a food coach in the parking lot preparing mexican foods which you can enjoy there at tables with umbrellas or take it to go.”

“I wanted to leave a review about the taqueria in the back of the store! I always get the California Burrito or their Chilaquiles (for breakfast) I feel like the quality of the meat tastes and feels cleaner than other taquerias around the area. The taste is always great, although the only thing I don't like is that their quite stingy with their portions. They measure the amount of meet they put on each item. Other than that, food & service are great!”

“Great place for buying Bangladeshi/Indian items. Decent collection of stuff but missing a few things I wish they had.
Also their kitchen is very good. The food is always good and the portions for the price are also not bad.”

“No surprise, especially no bad ones: go there when you want predictable & safe grocery shopping. Some branches, such as this one, offer a great choice of items somewhat unusual for US grocery stores, such as fontina, every fancy variant of Jameson Irish whiskey, many kinds of hard seltzers...”

“My husband and I we're looking for playing cards. We looked all around and we finally asked two employees. Both were willing to look for the cards. But Marcus is an exceptional employee. While he was still doing his job, he was looking up and down the aisles for our playing cards. He was very helpful. We have only been down here for an hour and already two people have been very helpful to us. Great service”

“Easily accessible from Lawrence Expressway with a good selection of Indian grocery and food options. It’s relatively cheaper than some other Indian stores but that also varies by the product. There is decent parking lot and there is a nice restaurant indoors. Staff is courteous.”

3.3 Good245 Reviews

“Super useful grocery place. They have a wide variety of options with grocery and vegetables which are not usually found in other Indian groceries in the area. Their meat counter is also very good. Reducing one star for the not so friendly staff at meat counter who are always moody and rude.”
