“It’s so hard to leave Trader Joe’s without some kind of junk food / snack. This location is pretty packed regardless of time of day / day of week but that’s probably because it’s a great branch. Staff are always helpful and despite it being so packed, all our favorites are still stocked or in the back. The best part is that the parking lot is huge, so that’s never a problem. I feel like most Trader Joe’s have a parking problem because they pick the smallest plazas.”
“Friendly, helpful, and nice crew! The products are well organized, and the shelves are always stacked, making it easy to find stuff. You'll find lots of healthy stuff to snack on.”
“Firstly, TJs is one of our two go-to weekly grocery stops...Safeway being the other.
I may be the only person who likes TJs, not just for the items but for when they discontinue the items. To boot, items that I liked and became routine in my life. Case in point: I used to like their frozen chicken pie... much better than the more commercial varieties. Guess what? They discontinued it! More accurately, associates would tell me for months afterward that it was back-ordered i.e. it was never officially gone. Two or three years later, it's still missing. Another example: they sold high cocoa content chocolate covered nuts. Gone!
Quirky! Despite that, I love the place. Then there's the workers. I love them too.... ?”
“Overall a good place. Random selection of items and they never have the same items if you go back but I assume that is part of business model as they take what they can get in the store. The staff is nice and the prices are good. The hours suck as they close pretty early so make sure you get there in time in the evening.”
“We've never been to a bad grocery outlet store. This one in Livermore is very nice as well. One of the cashiers we usually see on Thursdays always tells me what she's been cooking lately. We found we make the same thing. Baked salmon with spicy honey on it. Tonight, she was making potato leek soup when she went home. It's a clean, well stocked store with a friendly staff. You can't ask for much more. We refuse to shop at Safeway. Check them out!”

“I always find good deals, from fruits to my veggies here. Along with many local vendors you may find on social media. I recommended the crazy cheesecake stands. So many different cheesecakes made fresh, now he sells these very flavorful lemonade as well worth every penny. The fresh barkey with large size pastries I always get a new one I haven't tries. Along with fresh breads and other fresh baked goods.”
“Raley’s in Fremont is a great place to shop with a wide variety of foods and drinks for every taste. “Navigating through the aisles everything is always very organized and fully stocked. The staff is always very friendly and nice at the checkout. I do like the quality of products and foods they have here most of produce is very fresh and I always like to get my essentials from here. One of my favorite grocery stores when shopping I would only like to see them possibly just carry some more variety of organic products.”
“There fruit selection is excellent they also have grass fed grass finished ground beef it's a bit pricey but it's good beef. Very well kept clean store. They also have a good Coffee bean selection.”

“As usual, the Diner was immaculate as we walked in. We were seated immediately as it wasn't that busy. We knew the waiter as he's served us many times before. His nickname is " Ino." He's just a very nice young man. He made us fresh coffee as we decided what we wanted. I had a double cheese burger and fries with coffee. My wife had a tasty salad and the turkey dinner.We received our meal blazing hot. My burger was wrapped in parchment paper, which made it very easy to eat. It was perfectly cooked. My fries were fine. My wife's turkey and gravy was very good as I had to sample it.The service was great. Ino was as nice as he always is. The food was very tasty.We left a big tip as always since it was earned. This is a very well run black bear diner. I highly recommend it.”

“I have been shopping at this store and Pleasanton Safeway for years and years. I drive over from Fremont. Raley's Pleasanton and Safeway have both gone off the rails when it comes to price. They are the two most expensive grocery stores in the city. The last 6 months at each of these stores, I have noticed fewer and fewer shoppers. The aisles are unburdened--why? Because of the cost. I am sad to say that even though I can actually afford their prices, I refuse to pay them. Done with both!”

“I'm not sure why the Safeway has mediocre review. I've always had positive experience at this location better than most Safeway that I've been to. The staff has always been friendly, and for the most part, the quality of the food is exceptional, and they are fully stocked... For the most part. The only time I had a negative experience, I shared with a corporate office which somebody at this location reached out to me before I was a yelper. They were very good following up with customers dissatisfaction experiences. Customer service: A ++ Price:A Quality:A”

“One of my to go grocery stores. It is almost never crowded and I can make a quick visit to pick up something I need. I like their veggies and greens selections. They got some Asian veggies as well. And you can get some items in bulk. Turns out very cheap if you can use the quantity. Overall great selection and low prices.
And don’t forget to buy a lottery ticket at the end of your shopping visit :)”
“Been customer of this halal food market for years now! You can find Afghan and Pakistani I food related items here including great selection of amazing spices. Frozen hot links, beef and Turkey bacon strips as well as fresh meat and poultry from their butchery. They also bake fresh Afghan bread at this place. They have some seasonal exotic fruits here like Afghan grapes, sweet mangoes and delicious pomegranates (best to call store prior to visiting for these fruits) wide selection of dried fruits and nuts. They have baked goods as well also delicious corn breads. Exotic pickles and quality mango, grapes, guava and pomegranate drinks. They also sell quality tea sets and other decorative high end tea cutlery. They treat customers with respect,accept cash, debt, credit, ebt as well, store is a nice size but it's fully stocked so walk around carefully haha, im not gona say their prices are affordable or expensive because they do sell quality merchandise. Overall, pretty decent. I've had negative experience at this store in the past but 1 bad experiences out of few is not a bad deal.”

“Passed by on our way to dinner and they were still open after we dined, so we took a peak inside. Finally found some organic mung beans without yellow coloring which we had to get. They have fresh vegetables, frozen Indian food, spices, yummy snacks, a variety of oils even castor oil, every dried bean you'd want without additives, dishes and bowls, rice, and so much more. My husband was looking for some sunflower oil but the smallest size to season his new pans. He asked the cashier who grabbed a sample size from behind the counter and gave it to him. They're very sweet here. And open late! Thanks for the great service!”

“A small friendly country store that serves the needs of its community. In the 22yrs that I’ve been a patron, the owners & clerks have always been friendly & helpful. During Covid, Mikey’s was a life saver, enhancing their stock by adding necessities that weren’t available or over-priced at the big box stores. Now they offer more varieties in their groceries & fresh produce.”
“Convenience/liquor store in an old strip mall. Nothing special about it, other than it's interesting history. On their signage, the word "Market" is set in what looks like a football shape, complete with laces. After doing some research, I discovered that this store was originally called "McElhenny Markets", and was owned by NFL player Hugh McElhenny, who played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1952-1960. The ownership has changed, but the football logo remains, all these years later. Just a little Pleasanton history/trivia for you! I've picked up a soda, snack or six pack here on occasion. Decent selection and service.”
“Been going here for years! Whenever I am hosting friends or doing a taco night, Hidalgos delivers! They have a great selection of ready to cook meats for tacos or fajitas. The staff there is very friendly and eager to help. In addition they have sides and whatever other fixing you may need.”

“I’ve bought several different cuts of beef and they all taste great. They are not more expensive than the grocery stores and trust me your getting a cleaner product that’s fresh. You can pick it up or they ship it to you. I tried their stew meat first and it was delicious, soft as butter. I give them 10 ⭐️ ENJOY!”
