Inside Pet Food Express- Tarzana, 18419 Ventura Blvd, TarzanaStopped by for my dogs birthday this past weekend. Used the self service bath which is great and only $18 and they clean up the mess. Go early to avoid waits but each station has a 30 minute timer. After his bath we shopped around and the staff gave us recommendations on treats and chew toys. Everyone was very friendly.

I never knew shopping for my pet food could be a hoot. I get my dogs vaccines here at low cost as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Critter Squad Wildlife Defenders.
18730 Oxnard St # 301, TarzanaWhat a fantastic experience with the Critter Squad! We hired them for a birthday party and all the guests had a wonderful time. Snakes were our animal of choice and the handler who brought them was great. She did a really good job managing the kids getting enough time with each snake and also giving little bits of info about each snake. The balance between education and hands on fun was perfect. Each snake was calmer and kinder than the next. So much so, that halfway through the snake interactions, guests were literally sitting or laying down on the grass snuggling with the snakes. My favorite part was that she made sure the birthday girl got to hold each newly presented snake first, which really added a touch of feeling special. Would highly recommend working with Critter Squad since the animals were clean, calm, and the price was very reasonable!

19576 Ventura Blvd, TarzanaMy 2 Bichon Frises are therapy dogs and have to be bathed and groomed 24 hours before their hospital visits. My regular groomer had to leave town suddenly and I was in a real bind. Jennifer was able to schedule us on very short notice. I was nervous for my pups being in new surroundings....but I had no need to be. The dogs were bathed and blown dry and looked absolutely gorgeous. I met a number of long time clients who told me they have been coming to Shanis for years. This is a great place! Thank you Jennifer.

HOLLYWOOF PAWS OF FAME

I'm going to bring my other mini golden doodle there. I'm glad I found them.

Now, I've finally found my new favorite for my puppy boy!! I've been using this service for my dog Kavo, my Australian Shepard. He LOVES when Moe comes to see him. My pup always comes back looking pawfect and full of smiles! And that was never his experience in the past. Moe is dog groomer who owns a dog and absolutely loves dogs. He's like an old friend already. It must be very hard to own a business for over 12 years but I see his Mobile grooming van on the road all the time. Always glad to see he's booked and busy! Moe is phenomenal dog groomer, his haircut is always great. All he needs access to your Electricty and a big parking spot for his van. He always give me an hour window and Moe the rockstar is always on time. So glad to have found this company. Great service highly recommend Clean cut grooming! They treat our pups with personal care!

I took my 14 year old female GSD there and they made special arrangements to get her in and out quickly so less stress on her and despite the fact that she pooped all over the place, they are still willing to have her back again. She came home soft, beautiful and smelling great! These people love and respect dogs. You cannot go wrong here. I cannot say enough great things about them and their services.

On the first occasion, I brought my sister’s dog, and on the subsequent visits, I took my cousin’s dog. The service was excellent on the first and second visits, and the pricing was reasonable. During the second visit, I requested grooming and a curtain trim for my cousin’s dog, which was done well for around $60.
However, my experience on the third visit was different. I requested only a basic grooming service—just a wash and blow dry, without any additional services like haircuts, teeth brushing, or nail trims. They initially quoted $90 for this, which seemed unreasonable, given that I had paid less for more services previously. After discussing the pricing with the owner, she agreed to lower it to $65. Later, I received a call from the front desk stating the charge would be $60, which I accepted. However, upon arrival, I was informed the fee was $65, as initially discussed. The inconsistency and lack of clear communication were frustrating, as it wasn’t about the extra five dollars, but rather the principle of the situation. Additionally, after the third visit, I noticed that my cousin's dog did not smell like anything at all, which was disappointing. This added to my annoyance, as I expected at least a pleasant scent after grooming.

This is definitely our new regular spot. Super reasonably priced. Shout out to the guy working the grill and register, super friendly and kept his composure with the rude guest before me. There were so many things on the menu. They even have Chinese food on your menu if you wanna mix it up. Luckily I went with enough people that I was able to try other dishes. From the moment we checked in, to getting seated, getting our food or to enjoy each bite, it was just all around great way to start the day with a delicious breakfast. We went on a Sunday and they had validated parking.

Anyway two families went to Fish grill with our kids on a Sunday evening and we loved it. Such a great place pack with ppl! quick service and tasty simple food
Menus is limited which makes it easy to pick what you want. It may not be the best choice if you have picky eaters.

The service was just as impressive. The gentleman who helped us today was super nice and really helpful. Oh -- and free refills? Yes, please! Overall, the food was a 10/10 and the service was a 10/10. We're definitely coming back. Bonus points for the cool 3D-printed photos on the wall -- fun to stare at while you eat.

The Last Call
6025 Reseda Blvd, TarzanaWe used the place for a scene in a film. The place was really impressive. As a musician I usually find it hard to play gigs in smaller spaces. But this place is modern and updated. The stage is nice with plenty of room for a drum kit and still move around. They have nice stage lighting and an overall good musical club vibe. I will definitely book shows at this club for my band. It is a great spot for live shows.

5511 Reseda Blvd, TarzanaGosh, I love some of their new menu items.. My favorite is the mini tostadas which I get with chicken, although the standard Wagyu beef sounds delicious. I haven't tried the new smash burger taco yet, but why has no one ever thought of that before! Look forward to giving it a try. I also love three salads which I rotate through every week. The Numex Caesar salad, which I've maybe had 100 times, the Chinese chicken salad, and the new barbecue chicken salad, which is maybe my favorite now. If I'm feeling really healthy, I'll get the roasted veggie bowl with chicken. This Sharky's location is the best. It's been a long time favor of mine. The food just keeps getting better and better. And the team is so wonderful. I love my Adriana and James and Fidel among others. Primo and Ada and Vicente are in the kitchen and they are the best. Such talented chefs and they care about their creations. What's amazing is that the team seems to enjoy each other's company after so many years. And there is always advancement opportunities through the company and other locations , which is pretty darn cool. I feel like the team is part of my family. They certainly got me through the pandemic! PS, did you know that the fire roasted salsa won the Ventura County fair salsa contest! Deserves it. :-).

Before it was so nice to go and have few slices with the place pack with families, now the place is empty all the time as the sell you pizza like it's made of holly cheese and the vegetables of the garden of adam. There is no place they charge you for two slices and a drink $30. I don't go that often but it's my favorite place for pizza. ???

18588 Ventura Blvd, TarzanaIf you love Russian food, this is the place for you. They have traditional Russian food and other eastern European dishes. It can get crowded so make a reservation. Parking is easy, the have metered parking right in front.
The place is just beautiful and calm. It is quiet and romantic, or you can bring your kids. There are white table clothes on all tables and this place is super clean. There is room between the tables so you don't hear the people next to you.
The service is perfect, they are all very kind and will check on you and help you with the menu. They are just super nice.
The prices are fair for what I consider a fine dinning eatery.
Al of their food is great and you get a good portion. We love their salads, try the Kubnsky salad or the Darnitsky sky salad, they are so fresh and packed with flavor.
Their Traktir cutlet is so great. They have wonderful sides, their starter caviar is great. Their desserts are the best so save room and have a wonderful night.
