My dog is a senior, fragile, and not the easiest to groom, and they handle him with incredible gentleness. It’s clear they have real experience with older dogs who need extra attention, and I always feel comfortable knowing he’s in such good hands.
What really meant a lot was when I had to cancel an appointment because my dog was hospitalized—Rita took the time to check in on us. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and made a stressful situation feel a little less overwhelming.
If you want groomers who genuinely care about your pet and treat them with kindness and respect, I highly recommend Rita and Julie. I’m so grateful we found them.

They also clean their anal glands, but they shave their little paws , And make it very stylish they also brush their teeth and I’m just really impressed!! I have five dogs that I rescued, and they all seem to be very, very happy.

I have taken my mini-golden doodle to them for years before moving to San Diego and they have always provided top tier care. Scheduling is flexible, wait times are reasonable, staff is friendly, and parking nearby is always available. The staff has also gone above and beyond for us, specifically when I was in a bind to get mandatory vaccines prior to dropping my pup off for boarding that same day - calling them en route driving from SD to LA, they empathized with my situation and were able to fit in an appt around the exact time we were expected to arrive in LA (absolute life savers!!). I still benefit from the email reminders re: my doggo's upcoming vet needs (e.g. immunizations) and take her to them whenever we make an LA visit. Highly recommend!!

From the moment I brought my dog in for his temperament test, I immediately felt at ease—the staff were relaxed yet incredibly professional.
My dog is a senior with diabetes, requires insulin, and is partially blind, so I was nervous leaving him for over a week with new people in a new place. The staff reassured me right away that my pup would be in great hands—and he absolutely was.
I also love that the dogs get their own room vs. being in a crate! The frequent Instagram story updates gave me so much peace of mind, too.
Special thanks to Tony, who administered insulin shots twice a day and he stays overnight with the pups! Rose, the owner, is also there every day and made me feel completely comfortable trusting a new facility with my senior dog. I will definitely be bringing my dog back. Thank you so much, Paw Haven!

Clark specifically went above and beyond! I had my morning brain and said “iced” when I meant hot, and when my drink was made I made a face cause I knew it was my fault but Clark noticed and INSISTED he remake it hot, drained the ice from my “iced” latte so I can enjoy it later without it being watered down and let me keep both drinks. It’s small things like that when people go above and beyond that make places special. Can’t wait to come back.

A delicious vanilla matcha was a wonderful compliment to my fire roasted tomato Shakka omelette. Everything was so flavorful well-made and delicious. My item came out with steaming hot fresh pita bread. That was the best I've ever tasted. Love this place!
