They took the time to ask about our preferences and made sure we were comfortable with everything before starting.
Our dog came back clean, well-groomed, and not stressed at all — which says a lot. The haircut looked great and exactly how we wanted it. The place was clean and well-organized, and the whole process felt smooth and professional.
Pricing was fair for the quality of service. We’ll definitely be coming back.

17324 Ventura Blvd unit B, EncinoWe’ve been taking Gogo and Mochi to Encino Pet Grooming for years and have always had a great experience. Gogo is a Maltese-terrier mix and his fur can get pretty unruly, but they always do a great job with him.
What I especially appreciate is how they handle Mochi. She’s very reactive and nail trims are not easy, but they are patient with her and always go out of their way to get it done. I know she’s not the easiest dog to work with, so I really appreciate the extra effort.
It’s hard to find people you trust with your pets, and they’ve earned ours. Highly recommended.

I could barley recognize them when I got them back because they looked so cute and clean and he was even able to keep some of the length even though those dreads were pretty bad. I don’t have after photos just yet but I’ll add them in later. Doggy full makeover for sure

Our dog, Oreo, was cared for lovingly and we always felt the same. Sadly, Oreo crossed the rainbow bridge at the end of April, however we will always be grateful for the care we all received. From the moment we pull onto the street, Milo already knows where he’s going — his entire energy changes. He gets excited, starts wagging his tail like crazy, and practically pulls us to the door because he’s so happy to be there. That alone says everything about how much he loves this place.
The team here genuinely cares about the dogs. You can feel the love and attention they give to every single pet. They treat Milo like he’s part of their family, not just another appointment. One thing I especially appreciate is that they send us pictures of Milo during his visits, which gives us so much peace of mind and joy seeing how happy and comfortable he is while he’s there.
The grooming is absolutely exceptional. Every bath, brush, and grooming session is done perfectly truly to a tee. Milo comes out looking beautiful every single time, perfectly brushed and fluffed, and smelling so incredibly good it’s like heaven. They never overcut his hair, which has happened to us at other groomers before. They are extremely careful and detail-oriented, and it shows in the results.
Another thing that sets them apart is how attentive and knowledgeable they are about dog health and comfort. We’ve unfortunately had experiences at other grooming places where Milo ended up with ear infections because the groomers didn’t properly care for his ears during baths. That has never happened here. They are meticulous, gentle, and clearly very experienced.
We’ve been bringing Milo here twice a week for over a year now, and there is simply no other place we would trust with him. The consistency, care, professionalism, and genuine love they show for the dogs is unmatched. It’s rare to find a place that maintains this level of quality and kindness every single visit.
Pet Rock Hotel & Spa is truly a 10/10 in every way. If you love your dog and want them to be treated with care, attention, and expertise, this is the place to go. Milo absolutely adores it here, and we are so grateful to have found such an incredible team to care for him.

15602 Ventura Blvd, EncinoWithout a doubt, this is our favorite Russian/Ukrainian grocery store in Los Angeles! We drove a long way just to shop here, and it was absolutely worth it.
The selection is incredible—you can find almost everything from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. It brought back so many memories! We ended up spending almost $800 because there were so many amazing products we wanted to take home.
We bought red and black caviar, fresh homemade meals, dairy products, kefir, pomegranate juice, ice cream, snacks, and so many other authentic products. Everything was fresh, high quality, and delicious.
The homemade food is outstanding. We especially loved the Ukrainian borscht, Uzbek plov, beef stroganoff, stuffed cabbage rolls (golubtsy), chicken kabobs, lamb chops, syrniki, crepes, Olivier salad, and homemade pastries. It honestly tastes like real homemade cooking.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The store is clean, well organized, and fully stocked with authentic products that are very difficult to find anywhere else.
If you’re looking for authentic Eastern European, Russian, Ukrainian, or Georgian food, this is the place to visit. We highly recommend this store and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing shopping experience!

We went today for a Father’s Day dinner.
For me, it was my first time here. My son and daughter in law were here before.
The restaurant is very authentic and welcoming. They have got a small dining area inside, and big outdoor area. Both on the second floor of a small plaza.
The food was delicious! Everything we ordered was top notch. The service was outstanding, specially Karina; what a kind lovely young lady. Always smiling, very nice and attentive, makes you feel part of the family.
We really enjoyed our time here today.
We will be back soon, with our whole family.

The Nook

I wouldn’t really call it a diner, it’s more of a traditional breakfast restaurant and can be a nice option, especially if some of the really popular ones have longer lines. This location in the valley has much easier parking and our server was very polite and friendly. Inside is also larger here and can host many different sized groups. It was very crowded when we stopped in for our Saturday brunch, but the tables turned pretty quickly.
For this visit, I chose the Baja Benedict, which was a special which was basically an Eggs Benedict with avocado and pico de gallo on top. It was very good and eggs were cooked perfectly although I really wish they would have chorizo. We also ordered some of the strawberry Red Velvet pancakes and thought they were a great sweet treat. Overall, this is a nice option and I would recommend if you’re searching for some breakfast.
