“Awesome workers here...No, Truckee is an expensive place to live. And shopping is tough especially when you compare it to Reno. But I stop in here once in a while to see if they have any good deals. Today I stopped in to see if they had any five dozen eggs because the wife wanted me to bring eggs home.According to one of the assistant managers, they have a shortage of dairy products and though they have quite a few different types of eggs, there were no 60 packs. Right now the five dozen are $8.99. After leaving, I saw that they had just received a huge shipment and there was a large semi truck parked in the parking lot unloading tons of pallets. So I called back and the girl who answered the phone was extremely nice and went to check and see if they did in fact get some eggs in their delivery.Very nice and courteous. Greeted with a smile. Good phone etiquette. I recommend it”

“Great relaxing view and amazing sandwiches. Covered outside dining available. They even have fresh water for your animals when you are hiking up the trail. Wish I could give them 10 stars. I will definitely stop by again while cooling off or warming up in the future.”

“Always love a stop at this olive oil shop. Friendly and knowledgeable service with recommendations on pairings. I always find myself going home with a new flavor balsamic vinegar and olive oils, while stocking up on my staples like arbequina. Love the tastings here. Definitely a stop not to be missed in the quaint and lovely Truckee.”

“During my recent visit, I observed a contrasting display of behavior at the store. While the young ladies working at the front were incredibly helpful and pleasant, there was an elderly lady who appeared to be bitter and unhelpful while putting away products. It was the day after a blizzard, and we were all stuck together, but there didn't seem to be a valid reason for her upset demeanor. Despite this, I still gave the store a five-star rating because of the exceptional service provided by the other staff members. However, it is important to note the negative impact of the bitter person on my overall experience.”

“I built my own sandwich and I felt the price was very reasonable. Everything is made to go but there is a space to eat there. There's also a water station by the place where you pick up the coffee, which I used to refill my water bottles. It's also a little grocery store which is convenient. Also the gallon of water from the grocery section was $5 and the water bottles were around 3-5 bucks each from the fridge in case you're thinking of buying water like my friends and I did.”

“What a wonderful store! Anything you need, they have. Whatever dietary restriction you may have any gluten-free, dairy free, they accommodate an offer options for all. They are very conscientious and thorough in their selections and meet all means! The deli will even make gluten-free sandwiches. What a dream!”

“Pretty expensive but good quality stuff. Right on the lake. Convenient. Sell sandwiches and liquor. Gotta pay the prices to keep them in the neighborhood. I'll pay every so often to keep them around. It's a lot closer to Norden than Truckee!”

“It was just like every older Savemart I've ever been in. On the small side but I found what I was looking for. The frozen food isles were so packed with pallets of unstocked food that I couldnt open the glass doors even halfway but it was during a storm and in Truckee Ca so I was happy it was even open at 9:45pm on a Thurs night.”

“We had a large purchase and Adam had so much patience, enthusiasm and was so kind. We could not stop talking about how amazing his customer service was on our way home. The young lady who bagged our groceries with Adam was so friendly. We will ONLY go to Adam’s line. Five stars is not enough!!!!!”

“Well it's a safeway in a place that otherwise might not have a big grocery store. My impression is it's serving a lot of the tourist community -- I was there on a Friday night doing shopping for my own ski vacation -- so prices might be a bit high and grocery stores as a whole have become less service oriented. The self checkout line moved relatively quickly and they had lots of stuff but nothing too specific (e.g., if your looking for more rare spices you probably won't find them there). So 24 hours plus has a pretty good variety of stuff = 4 starts.”

“Great prices and assortment of items! Yes, it's a busy place with long lines, but it's what you'd expect for a nice market where nothing else is available. I would definitely return!”
