“This is my go-to place for when I need to buy ice axe or trekking poles, or proper endurance running shoes, or hiking boots. The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. One of them encouraged me to buy Oboz Sawtooth boots even though they were a bit pricy, but that turned out to be a great decision. Best hiking boots I've had - very durable. The fitting rooms are nice and clean - I do sometimes see difference in price on stuff such as hiking pants between the store and online, in which case the store proves great for sizing and fit-check, then I can order on the REI website.”
