“I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional customer service one of your employees provided this past month. When Volcom Online store had its sale for 40% off on wetsuits, I decided to try wearing a Volcom wetsuit for the first time. I've always worn a men's Medium/Short in every other brand, but when I ordered three MS wetsuits from Volcom (2mm, 3/2mm, and 4/3mm), I discovered they were all slightly too big. I was able to order the 2mm replacement in a size small online, but the 3/2 and 4/3 smalls were out of stock online. I called the Volcom store at Irvine Spectrum and Shep (Shepherd Edwards, Volcom Irvine Store Manager)... answered the phone. He was so incredibly helpful! Over the course of the next couple of days, he called stores around the state and country and obtained the other two replacements with no additional effort on my part. He acted promptly and always followed up with me regarding updates on the status of my replacements. I have been so disappointed with the customer service of certain other surfing retail establishments in recent years that I was floored by his professionalism and promptness. I asked him for his full name and the name of his manager so I could take a moment to express my appreciation. And the size small fits just right, by the way! Really enjoying the 4/3 now that the water temp has dropped a bit! Thanks again to Shep!”

The store is missing some items that they have online, like tank tops, but you can order that to the store. Still a bit inconvenient.

Therefore I had to return a couple of orders. Returns were easy through ****** I got anxious about a couple of orders so I did follow-up with customer service who were very responsive and helpful. Refunds took within 1 to 6 business days of their warehouse receiving them. I have now made the switch to Asics Gel Kayano as a long time wearer of New Balance's 990.”
