“My 05 Silverado 1500 4x4 had a posi unit that had been showing signs of trouble in the near future quite awhile now. I've been babying it for a long time now. Anyway, the gm posi decided to start coming apart Sunday of last week. I explained to Annie that my wife and I had just recently open our own Nail Salon. Being Christmas week, I had to be there to help my wife. after my regular day job. The team at Shaffer did an awesome job at getting my truck back to me the same week.
Full rear end rebuild, and it drives better then ever, smooth as silk. No more clunk and clanks going into gear. I always had a strange drive shaft rattle. I though it was the output bearing at the tranny tail shaft. It's gone now. Must a have been the excess bearing play I had.

“I went to get my Mazda CX-7 serviced and checked up before a road trip about a year ago. Rafi is a great at what he does, very knowledgeable about cars, and a very humble and down to Earth person. Recommended only some repairs that were needed at the time, and gave some general guidelines on when to expect other repairs. The car did well on the trip, and one year on has been running great! No complaints, great experience, 10/10 would recommend.”
“I like taking my car for service, oil change maintenance. I went at around 4pm and I only had to wait about 40 minutes great customer service, very friendly.
The price had gone up $10 since I was quoted about 2 weeks ago, from $69 to $80, that was the only thing that I was disappointed with.

“My work had shelving installed in a 2021 transit 250 and they did a great job. Took a little long since they are understaffed but Phron (sorry if this is spelled incorrectly) stayed open 20-30 minutes past closing so we could pick the van up and had great customer service. My work just had basic shelving and partition installed but it looks great and will be put to good use!”

“Everything about monarch truck rentals was great. Please support local companies like this over the big franchises! Their trucks are much better than competitors, the suspension is smooth and doesn’t bounce your cargo like crazy. The windshield is clear and wipers actually work. The rails and tracks in the box are in good condition for securing cargo. And most of all the people are great! Can’t recommend them enough. We’ve rented from them 10+ times.”
“Not only is the customer service amazing they truly care about the customer. Ramon, I believe to be the owner, did my oil change and valve cover gasket for a great price last week and this week checked my car for free. He told me what was really going on with my car and didn't try to sell me on anything extra. I use to work for Pepboys and I know when someone is trying to up-sell their service for no necessary reason. I truly appreciate his honesty with my husbands car and now mine. “Andrew is the most knowledgeable and approachable car guy I have ever talked to. He goes over every detail swiftly but also assuring that you know what he's talking about. He has metaphors if you don't understand and just tries to get you what you want. Whether you drive your car like its tokyo drift or you barely venture out, cheap or expensive, mid tier, he will get you what you want. There was a whole line of people but you wouldn't have been able to tell with this guy. He knows cars so well and how to explain them that the customer leaves learning something but he is still somehow efficient. We got our tires replaced, but I just had to say that he's perfect and has a great head on his shoulders!”

“Cheap gas ($3.89/gal) Aug. 2021. Cash only. The place looks run down but there are always cars in line to get cheap gas. It's definitely cheaper than most other gas stations around, with the possible exception of Costco.”
“I came in with a blown front tire.. on a Sunday afternoon.. two hours before closing. Service Department representative Tom Doan displayed exceptional desire and tenacity.. finally getting my work order approved after many failed attempts. My tire was replaced, and I was out of there half an hour before closing!
Believe me, Manny, Moe, and Jack would be proud of Tom's energy, effort, and attention to detail !!

“Came here for tires change this morning with an appointment. In and out within one and a half hour, absolutely reasonable for changing all four tires. I hardly find any better labor price for changing tires than Walmart if buy tires from them. This is my second time have them mounted new tires on, and the work quality of this Union City Walmart met standard in my opinion. I am happy about their service.”
